"Yes, I bought an RPG. No, I don't want choices!"
I'm going to hazard a guess that action mode either won't involve romance or you can pick an LI at the start of the game. I think no romance is more likely.

Personally, I am playing RPG mode for all playthroughs. Although my sister is awful at shooters, so she is gonna play Story mode. My brother is a CoD fanatic and was overwhelmed by all the choses, so he will probably play Action... He is ginger...
Most conversations in ME3 have only two options. Anyone who needs action mode must be dense or just totally disinterested in the story.

which again begs the question is why did they buy a RPG to begin with..

OK, default Shep action mode time! lol
I've never gone Sheploo so I'll give that go, see how long I can last with his acting ^^
Edit: started New Game>Action and you don't even get to choose male/female or class/background. Straight in with soldier Sheploo.
They didn't even mention Ash's promotion in that cut scene or particularly interact, but it seems Shep is going for more lower right 'renegades' than upper 'paragons' dialogue in the cut-scenes so far. I'll report back with what happens when I meet Liara on Mars.

A few odd differences.
When speaking to Bailey, some lower right dialogue came out and afterwards I got +2 renegade. No choice, have some renegade points.
When doing the Khalisah Bint Sinan Al-Jilani scene you still get your paragon/renegade action options, but when choosing paragon she says "I haven't always been kind to the military, but I'm glad you're on our side" rather than "We haven't always seen eye to eye..."
Whenever Ash mentions Cerberus, Shep just shuts her down. Less whine, more war. When you are in the lift on Mars, she says something like: "Cerberus may be pro-human, but they oppose the Alliance." probably for a quickie explanation for the noobs. There were a few lines like that.
If you bought this for an action game and hadn't played ME1 and 2, the cut scenes would be annoying. I'll stick with it and see if any lurve blossoms.

Chakwas is 'forced' upon you. Dr Michel is just a random senior doctor, no mention of the past.
The Council was killed and we have the replacement Council, seems Shep was renegade in the past for this character. Udina stated that the other races still fear the humans and such like.
The Memorial Wall was 'interesting' too. Failed to save crew, and also on the wall:
Talitha(!)
Thane
Wrex (yup, renegade methinks)
possibly more, not sure on all the names.
Went to Liara's office and Shep says to Glyph "What are you?" Spoke with Liara who says something like "While you were back on Earth, I hunted down that information traitor we were chasing and brought some of his equipment here." I nearly laughed out loud when she said that crappy noob-friendly line.
All quiet on the romance front...

Sorry to report back so quick but more general interest. I'll forget most of it if I don't post periodically hehe.

Why the hell did they put all this noob friendly dialogue in? Interesting to hear about anyway.
Given how renegade shepard is, I imagine you are going to betray the krogan. Think Eve will die? Or shoot mordin?

Oh I meant to mention in the last post. The Council meeting was just weird. It wasn't so much "We can't help because we're defending our own borders" as "What if we work together and we still lose?" It was all just a bit odd.
"Lair of the Information Traitor" hahaha, doesn't quite have the same ring to it does it? In fact, it sounds like a bad manga translation.

Action mode should turn the cutscene into a mini-game. "::Left, Left, X, Right:: Darnit, I meant to press Up! Stupid bra..."

Well mainly, I'm reminded why I don't choose Sheploo or Soldier class so far. It's a lot less of an enjoyable experience not being able to interact properly with anyone.
@JedTed: I never cheated on my lovely Liara so I don't have a save for that.

What happens if you import a save and then switch to action mode? If you romanced someone in ME1, does it continue that romance in ME3? What if you cheat with someone on ME2?
Action shep shuts them all down and pursues friend route

So romance is off the cards completely with Action Shep?

If there is a default romance at all Liara makes the most sense. She is the only one guaranteed to be alive going into ME3 and she is romanceable by both genders. Then again Ashley is in all the marketing, so one could argue for her being the default option based on that.
But I'm guessing that in action mode Shepard doesn't romance anyone. Shepard being in a relationship with another character involves dialogue & story, both of which are being cut down in action mode.
After a few playthroughs with non-imports It seems like the impilcation is, that the V.S is the cannon romance. It makes sense because new players would freak out at being put with an alien.
However in a strange twist the new players of who choose Fshep, (The ones that i've spoken too.) almost all've assumeed that Fshep is cannonicly gay.

When saving Eve and the Yahg kills the Cerberus agent, the dialogue goes:
Liara: "He must be looking for food"
Garrus: "That's one for our memoires"
Liara: "Works for me"
Really...? I know they probably felt it unnecessary to mention the Shadow Broker, but that dialogue is just poo. lol
The game hasn't actually stated that Liara is the Shadow Broker, just that she's sort of using his stuff and sort of acting in the role.
Kasumi is not on the Memorial Wall, but when helping the Salarian Spectre he got his info from Donavon Hock. Dunno why they decided that.
Shep was harsh to Ash in the hospital.
Is Wreav alway such an ass?

I also like that they think playing the game as an rpg may be too taxing on the target audience and that other modes are required in the first place.
