if you can honestly look in that thread and tell me otherwise than go right ahead and prove my argument wrong.

I thought it was more how making him a DLC automatically makes someone who should be extremely important into an afterthought. Free or not DLC = optional.

it started off about it being 10 bucks than one thing leads to another and back and forth arguing.

basicly the bsn being the bsn.

i just gave up on that thread and left it

I agree that I wish DLC was better integrated into the game (Kasumi better than Zaeed, at least). It then brings up the question why an integrated character was a pay for DLC at launch. Blah blah blah.

That being said, I'm fine with the Prothean. If it was up to me he wouldn't be in the game but I'll play it and make up my mind if they did a good job or not.

i find it hypocritical you say a prothean dosent make sense and yet you demand a batarian squadmate knowing batarians dont like humans

i mean afterall shepard did whipe out a batarian system but i guess that just dosent matter since to fans one would be such a great squadmate

-Im not. Im mad that who ever wrote up the story started so well and ended up taking a crap in their own nest. Again assuming that what is being leaked is even semi-true.

It will be the epic letdown akin to watching the british tv series"The Edge of Darkness"   and then watching the american version afterwards.

What amazes me is the fact no one questioned the way he looked. I assumed from the images from beacon, and the statues from Ilos I thought the Protheans where tentacle faced!

-Sure I would. Because that would be an interesting plot twist. The yanks also worked with the russians even if they really didnt like what they saw. One of americas most celebrated icons in the Special Forces was a guy who fought the russians as a member of the finnish army, as a part of Waffen SS and as a member of the 10th SF and died in Vietnam. -You could but you would be wrong. You bump into batarians everywhere and they are a living and thriving community with whom you could even have a backstory.

The protheans are long dead, and introducing a character with zero influence on the game story and zero knowledge about his culture or race is pissing in the face of both biowares storyloving fans and the ingame lore at the same time.
