Lets see, Geth are siding with the reapers and have proven to be prone to getting brainwashed. So if anything , the geth are more of a liability. The fact is that you can not trust the geth. The quarians also prove their worth in ME3.

Tough choice, considering that all the Geth except Legion allied with the reapers, it'd be tempting to just off them for that.

On the other hand, the quarians aren't much better, what with hating any synthetic the build just for gaining sentience, even if they did no wrong.

Too bad there's no option to off both.

Except those quarians died hundreds of years ago, remember? Besides, I doubt children would have much say in the matter.

So what happends to Tali is you side with the Geth?

She jumps off a cliff on Rannoch, the quarian homeworld.

If that's true I might just have to side with the geth to see that ending. Image IPB

You can get both on your side, at least that's what I did. I didn't destroy any species. Either the Tali suicide is a joke, or you have to treat her like garbage in order to get that result. I guess joke.

It is not a joke. If Shepard chooses the geth over the quarians Tali will commit suicide and it has nothing to do with treating her good or bad. It simply boils down to reputation.

If you choose to let Legion start the upload of the reaper program to the geth you will be presented with several options. If you have sufficent paragon or renegade reputation you can choose an option that will make the quarians withdraw their fleet and both speices survive. If you do not have enough points you will have to choose between stoping the geth upload and letting the quarians destroy them or let the geth have the update so they can destroy the quarians instead.

Simply put, if you are paragon/renegade enough, you can make peace between the geth and the quarians.

If you do not allow Legion to even initiate the upload I assume you automaticly side with the quarians and the geth are wiped out, though I'm not sure about this. Perhaps you can get the Geth as allies without the reaper upgrade though I very much doubt that.

I just did as Darker said.
I had enough rep. points to save both, geth and quarians but Legion died anyway to complete the upload for his "people".

Whats it matter if you save the Geth the just die in the end any ways your choice doesn't matter as of right now.

Well, to be honest, doesn't metter wathever choice you got in all three games....important is to have enough rep. in the end. Just to have all the endings unlocked.

I want to confirm that having never played ME1 or ME2 there is no way to have both.
Thanks.
