You write a code in the toolset, using the components you wish to use, compile the script and put it in "My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override" and use the console in the game to run the script.
If you wished to know how to use the existing cheat codes, that is a completely different question from what you asked.

I suppose you could try gamefaqs.com and look up Dragon Age:Origins. They and the Dragon Age Wikipedia are usually the first ones to come out with codes. One of the devs on the old DA forum said the codes are "use at your own risk", because they are developer codes and some of them could mess up your game.

You really don't need to cheat at the game.
Completely ruins it too.

Yes... cheating in a single player game totally ruins it for everyone everywhere, including the person who wanted to cheat.
bryanjameshyland, you can find cheats at gamefaqs: http://www.gamefaqs....ode/920668.html
If you really meant how to add your own cheats, then I'd go with what Mordaedil said.

I stand by my statement. If you need to cheat at this game then there's not much hope for you in the big bad world, also as I said it takes any fun away from the game thus ruining it.

I like how you say this as if it's fact, and not just your opinion. Also... did you just say cheating in a game means you can't make it in the real world? Really?

Because using cheats is indicative that you will fail in real life.andybuiadh wrote...

Now, how old are you? I can't think anyone holding true to this belief can have worked a single day in their life. You know, since video games are supposed to be recreational and not some sort of turings test.
Or Darwin. Because then only a few people would survive.

or perhaps your real world is so busy already that you see nothing wrong in using a cheat code to get you through the game faster?
