on a semi related note, has any of you guys ever recognised that a player is a woman w/o her telling she is? and i don't mean them playing female character, more like the way they write, especially in an MMO

any other girls out there been booted from a group for being female? Had it happen to me twice last night, I think the young lads were afraid I'd give them cooties or some such.XD Was more funny than offensive, given that their voices hadn't even changed yet~sounded more like I had been outed by a pre-pubescent boy band.

I played a few rounds with some guys who kept reffering to me as a male becuase I played with a Level 20 Male Solider. When they discovered I was a Woman they started laughing at how they got beat by a girl. I decided to point out that my gender had no reference to how well I played and that I scored better then them becuase I simply was better lol.

I think maybe you're just paranoid. ;P I'm a female gamer who prefers to play females, but I never, ever talk
on voice chat. Not related to being a girl, I'm just super self-conscious. I don't even own a mic.

Though it's true that you can never tell. My mother has played MMOs (actual ones, not like Farmville) for over a decade and has consistently rolled male characters. She used to play Ultima Online with a guy who always played female characters. Quite funny.

One way to tell if it's a guy or not is if the character creation has body morphing; they're always long hair, big eyes, puffy lips and sliders aaaaaall the way up on the chest region.

As a note to the mentioned cod, that game truly has a second worth in beating males up that believe they have something to say or are entitled because of that fact especially with tactics that are unusual and require the utmost skill (same goes for battlefield, tho the community seems a lot more mature, so far only 1 went to sexual stupidity)

Boobs add forward momentum and provide impact protection. Very handy for charging.

Men's equipment add downwards momentum for Nova'ing~    
Different advantages~
