I'm on the Xbox :) I bought the 360 with kinect for the sole purpose of playing ME3, actually. Then I went back and bought 1 & 2 so I could have my ideal playthrough. <- Little obsessed.
EDIT: Also, my gamertag is ArrantPath14

I don't know whether it's hilarious or depressing that people are more willing to believe that I'm ten years old rather than I'm female. I use voice and never say anything about it unless someone directly asks. People call me 'kid' a lot.

I've come up for air from almost continual ME3 playing to raise my hand! Well, most of the time I'm female. Some times my friend takes over. I rock every character in blinding pink and key lime green, and am the proud owner of a Krogan soldier decorated thusly.

Key lime green and pink Krogan? I need to see this. The one girl I've played ME3 with had her Krogan in hot pink. It was hilarious.

Every character I play is pink and green. It's so very obnoxious :D Also, it irritates me when I shoot my squaddies in the back of the head because they're decked out in white and black, or black and red. There's nothing more embarrassing than mistaking your team for Cerberus troopers or Geth >.< I like to make sure no-one has to deal with that from me.

All of my chars are pink and green sans my Drell (who is blue, Kolyaaaat) for the same reason.  My buddy rocks Yellow for the same reason.

It's embarassing to admit how many times I've thrown reave or pull on a teammate in White thinking they were a trooper.  Then they turn and look around like "What's behind me?! :O"

I'm just like OOOOK time to be useful! :o;;;;

No way I was gonna read 30 odd posts but thought I'd chime in anyway.

No idea if I've ever played online with girls online because people rarely speak (PC version) but I definatly would like to see it I'm all for girl gamers gives more perspective to teammates. I guess you could say more variation instead of the usual group of guys.

I genuinely feel for you tbh, I've got a Kinect myself so it tends to pick up on random chatter in my lounge when I'm playing. 90% of the time, if someone hears my gf's voice, I get a load of friend requests and party invites. I think a lot of the kids playing XBL aren't particularly blessed with social graces, to say the least.

But alas, this is the internet after all!

Agreed I feel for the female gamers they have to contend with all the drooling guys constantly trying to chat them up. My ex girlfriend got it all the time. At least till I verbally steamrolled em anyway Image IPB what can I say I'm protective Image IPB

A couple of months ago, some guy was really getting on my short and danglies harassing my mrs in lobby chat. I got her to speak to him for a second and tell him to start a video chat (he had Kinect too). When the video chat started, he was greeted by my big, hairy, rear end right infront of the camera. Didn't hear from him again, suprisingly.

It's normally pretty funny how sad/pathetic people can be tbh, but some people seem compelled to take it that one step too far. 8 year old children who've just learnt their first swear word, but still sound like a pre-pubescent female. It's always funny telling them about your sexual encounters with his mother, they're so young that they seem to genuinely believe everything you say.

Xbox Live should have two servers: Under 18, and Over 18. Simple.

Elrena! Good to see you around again :)

Another girl gamer here though I haven't dressed any of my characters in pink (not a big fan of girly colours). I wonder how many guys have mistaken me for a pre-pubescent boy on voice-chat so far..

I'm a male player but honestly don't mind at all wether the people I'm playing along side in multiplayer are male or female. As long as there is some team spirit and co-operation its all good.

It is always good to hear about more people joining in on these games from either gender, as long as we can all have some good laughs killing Cerberus, Geth and Reapers.

"Gamergirls".. Oh god.

No thanks, I prefer to play with people that actually know how to play and dont give a **** about how their character looks. Everything with women is always so drawn out, boring, dull.

My girlfriend and I used to play WoW together until I was blunt and told her she genuinely did suck balls.

You have been reported, sir. Please try to change  woman to any ethnic minority and re-read  your post.  I would say more, but it's against the code of conduct...

By that are you trying to say a mix of girls and guys wouldn't be different then just guys? Experience tells me otherwise.

*nods*

Mine are always black and purple. Actually the only totally pink player I saw in MP played exactly like me (shooting from cover a lot) so I assumed she was female, too. I am not big on charging.

I'm sure that every person I've played with who has been terrible (at least 70% of people) have been girls, right?

Your under the mistaken impression that all girls suck at games and just like to play dressup. You are very very wrong.

I don't think I've run into a female gamer, or at least not an audible one, on the PSN. Not that it would make much difference, I don't have a mic yet and if I did I wouldn't be berating or flirting with people.
