I'm quite often the only one talking in the games which must be confusing with my white, pink and black armor and my Lando Calrissian like sex voice.

I gotta say, I don't think that girls are any more likely to play as a team or rez or whatever than guys. At least in my experience. I think nice people regardless of gender will be better teammates.

That.. Sounds strangely comforting somehow.  I'm intrigued!

Also was gonna post on the segregation of consoles/pc's, they tried it a few years back i think starting near CoD:MW1 sometime in that era for FPS's, they called them games for windows where xbox/pc users could play together online.

The thing that failed is that no matter what settings you have on a controller, a person with a mouse is always gonna have a hell of a better reaction time than the controller so they scrapped that idea, and i doubt their gonna try to pick it back up.

Games for Windows wasn't really about getting Xbox/PC users to play together. Only one game ever tried and it pretty much bombed and not because of any inherent advantages PC users might have had. The game sucked.

Actually in my experience woman do tend to be more playing for the team, like going for the rez and telling where hvt are, but are less likely to wade into heavy fire to save someones ass, while males have a tendency to do exactly that, tho i was for years in a female only clan and most of my childhood friends are gamer girls ;)

Also females have a tendency to be subtle sneaky backstabbing aholes in competetive gameplay

I think it honestly also revolves around your other gaming as well, like i play LoL a tank on there, i never have a positive k/d if anyone has played it before, but ill have couple dozen assists and the entire team probly will owe me their lives a few times over, ill save my team every time, and always feed my carries so they can win the game for us.

Unfortunately i also see tanks on there who steal kills because that's what they think they need to do, so im more of a team player kinda person myself. But won't hesitate to jump into fire to save someone else either ^.^.

I heard it was due to hardware restrictions at the time. This was back at the beginning of the Windows XP era.

But now they've all but confirmed that Windows 8 will be able to utilize Xbox Live and have PC/Console connectivity.

Well there is also my bf that plays how i know gaming from woman, so i wont overgeneralize, but if i take the tendency, its more woman playing that way.

I also know a woman that plays extremely aggresive, going for the biggest targets and laugh insanely when beating phantoms to a pulp ;) (me^^) at least this game doesnt let me drive tanks or fly chopper (paniking mate in gunner seat for the win:D)

I'd rather keep the platforms segregated. Between the horrid netcode and connectivity of games and players, the last thing you need in competitive multiplayer is higher reaction times because of Hardware, not skill.

Most of the female community in ACFA were bladers, ironically. In other games, a lot of girl players were either passive aggressive, or someone in PMS with a chip on their shoulder trying to prove something. Two of the last relationships I've had were from DS2, they didn't end well at all.

Man I don't think I've ever played with another girl. At least not that I know of. A lot of people I play with don't have mics. PC by the way. Message me if you want my ID.

LF Gold partners; Origin ID in my tag. Also, since I'm level 120 now I'll carry people, guy or girl, through other difficulties.

On the 360 I have a hard time sometimes determining if I'm talking to a girl/woman/etc or a young boy. Their voice system is so terribad that I barely recognize some of my friends voices that I know from outside of xbox live.

Ha, I used to do that. But I'm not running into **** anymore, to revive. If I shout into the mic to move out and only 1 follows me, while the other two stay in the hot zone and get owned by two Atlas very close and 3 phantoms, I will not get back in to save their asses. I did that once last night and needless to say the whole team died.

As I died and the last one alive tried to revive me in the hot zone.

Yes, I even wear a cloak while I play, and an awesome Lando-esque outfit.

That fits! I usually just spike my hair backwards or play Miles Davis in the background - depending on whether I'm a Turian or Vanguard.
Figured most Vanguards are like Jazz music~ Improvisational, predictable, loud.

Still intrigued!

Yeah. I was griped at, albeit in a friendly way, for not reviving all the time every time. I've tried to be better about it, and stick my neck out into dangerous situations. You really have to assess and calculate if the risk is worth it. If it's too messy where the fire is heaviest and I need to finish a wave solo to ensure that there even is a next wave for everyone else, I don't have any problem doing that. I picked a great class for it.

I couldn't care less about it jacking up my score, I'm often way ahead anyway. B) I just want to earn my credits and get everyone home safely. You know?

I would have thought they played "Motteke! Sailor Fuku" while playing.

Advertising the fact that you're a girl is only going to cause panic and general mayhem. It's only a matter of time before cars get flipped and things set ablaze.

Yeah, admitting you are a girl on the internet is equivalent to opening the Citadel relay so the reapers can come through in destructive potential.

On a serious notes, girls are often easy to spot, with female characters and girly colored armor.

Having a female characters isn't an indication of anything. Is someone really going to turn down an asari adept because they only want to play a guy?

ZweiWing wrote...

Reviving people leaves the reviver vulnerable. Attempting to revive someone in the middle of a cross fire usually ends with two players out of commission instead of one.

Some classes are better suited to it than others. As long as you're not in front of an atlas or turret, my vanguard can probably save you. And infiltrators with their cloak are awesome.

Not to mention the fact that half the human characters are fem only so if you want to run a NovaGuard (arguably the most aggressive class in MP), you have to play as a female.
