I only talk when other people talk. Didn't really come across any "omg she's a girl!!11111!11!!! situations while at it..

Last week I played in a team with a girl, who talked non stop. Blah-blah-blah. Not stopped talking not even a minute. Well I have to say she coordinated the whole team efficiently. In about Wave 6 or 7, somehow I remained alone. The girl: "Go, vorcha boy,go!! Go, vorcha boy,go!! Go, Vorcha boy,go!!..." and so on. Was annoying as hell, but a little inspiring too. Luckily I managed to stay alive, and later we extracted successfully at the end.

Ran into my first talkative female player this weekend. One of the other guys in the match was fawning all over her rather disgustingly and we wiped on a couple of waves because he was too busy trying to keep the Reapers from 'the lady' and not holding the line. A bit over the top, I thought.

You just made it sound as if he was only concerned in protecting his queen who would simply jump lobbies the next game :P

That's pretty much what it seemed like, he the gallant knight and all. I left after the match so I didn't see if their true love bloomed.

Sure she did!
Beside that I wasn't brave enough to find out how devastating words she had if I die. Image IPB

We really don't.

I couldn't care less who or what you are so long as you don't suck at this game or criticize my performance while I'm clutching a wave.

True. But I even like to play with people who "suck" because I love when I teach them how to play and improve their experience.

but there is only 1 thing that I don't like...

I don't like when my teammate go to the other side of the map alone, that is the only thing.

Oh don't get me wrong now.  I have my "MUST SAVE THE COMMUNITY AT ALL COSTS" days too where I go to extreme lengths to break a low level into a Silver or Gold and they usually handle themselves well.  I just try not to make a habit of it at the expense of my consumable reserves.

Since I usually play alone and never know what type of catastrophe awaits my switch is permanently set to "GIMME DEM CREDZ" mode until my team proves their worth.

Nah, I only care a little bit if they die too much, but if you do it but you don't need my help there is no problem, because even me, I like to cover an entire flank by myself, but I don't use to die a lot. :P

That's funny as hell.

I've actually had that happen on one of my teams before too. When I get stuck with idiots like that, I usually just let them both die and solo.

spinning in circles between rounds is a requirement because it is difficult to identify girls because they sound like ten year old boys

She was actually a darned good player. I think he would have benefited more from her protection of him.

I usually don't care what the sex is of my team mates. As long as they kill stuff and do objectives I am happy. My mood will quickly change like last night when the 4th joined our lobby to the sound of some girl talking about her hair and everything about it however I don't think she was the one playing. The problem is either they were not using push to talk or had the key pressed cause this went on for the first 3 waves before I finally had enough and told them to mute the mic in a not so nice way. So yeah I don't mind if the chat is about the phantom sneaking up behind me but I don't play ME3 MP for social chat about what Jenny said about Bobbi at lunch.

It may be sexist of me and I don't even know why I enjoy it so much, but one of my favorite things is to have talked over the mic (which usually makes it obvious I'm a girl, though some have asked if I'm a young boy... guess they can't conceive of female players!) and then end up being the one to solo Wave 10 and totally clutch it.

Did that yesterday in a silver room... the other three were fairly low N7 and I had to carry them most of the way. LOL

On a serious notes, girls are often easy to spot, with female characters and girly colored armor.

Not entirely true - of the human characters that has a choice between two genders I always go for the female. And I sport girly hot pink on some characters just so it's much easier for teammates to spot me from across the map, and lessen the chance that they'll waste a bullet when they see me coming out of a corner.

Pffft.  I challenge that.  Ten year old boy indeed.

I played and spoke to a lot of girls on PC. All the girls I meet in videogames are dudes/bro since we are behind a monitor playing with pixel characters

And on a similar note, my blue camo Turian Sentinel just looks so girly... I am easy to spot. LOLOL Image IPB

I felt like when I pointed out something the guys were doing "wrong" (like pull/stasis on an armored target, following infiltrators to capping objectives) they felt embarrassed.

So I just let them be.

I dont think you did anything wrong , personally if i am doing something wrong and unless the teammate is too offensive , i would definitely love the advice
