On a serious notes, girls are often easy to spot, with female characters and girly colored armor.

Having a female characters isn't an indication of anything. Is someone really going to turn down an asari adept because they only want to play a guy?

I know a couple guys that would.

If you're a straight male and you choose a female character, you will instantly catch gay.

Or so my brothers seem to think, anyway. I can't figure out why else they would be so against playing a female char!

Actually I doubt that. I've seen more guys playing as girls 'cause they're "hot", and using girly/vibrant colors because they think they're funny.

Questionable use of my first post, but I have to admit it--I'm female. :o PC though, sorry. I do use my mic however! But only if someone else speaks up first. I don't like being the one to initiate anything. Social anxiety. xD

And, relevant to the quoted post, most of my characters wear dark, glossy black with blue lights and/or stripes, not pink or anything. :P

I'm with Viquey about the armor colors: my characters are mostly dark, certainly not pink colored. I spotted some other female players but they never had girly colors. Don't know about team support, I do what I can depending on the situation, sometimes I disable 4 indoc devices alone, sometimes not even 1, it depends on the team.
If you want to add me, send a PM. Just know that currently I'm trying to level up my infiltrator, which is a class I never play in SP, so I'm likely to end up often as a salarian stain on the wall.

I had a girl team mate yesterday with a mic, actively talking with her friend in a foreign language. Pretty sure it was a girl, unless she's really a he and his voice hasn't broken yet. Anyway, after every wave we survive she says "good job everyone!" and it's really encouraging   I much prefer that over guys who are like "leave me alone, don't steal my kill."

I'm a girl too but I'm usually just "die die die phantom!"

I'm a girl and i play on PC. You can't miss my characters i go for the most hideous colour combinations i can think up, i've got a big beefy soldier man in black and hot pink camo and an infiltrator in a lovely shade of vomit camo, the others are a bit tamer

So depressing Cheez is a pc goddess instead of a fellow console peasant I can play with.

I know.:crying: Bekkael is awesome though.

OK, newbie question.  Are we segrigated by console? Because that would suck!

You mean can PS3, 360, and PC players all game together?

Never gonna happen.

Well, maybe 360 and PC can. Depending on what they do with Windows 8.

actually PS3 and pc more likely, like they did with Portal 2

Yep, I play on the PS3. I think my PSN (panda5onix) is pretty ambiguous so nobody really knows that I'm a girl lol. I play with the Turian Sentinel a lot too. Haven't come across many female players yet >.<

Don't care who I fight with, along as they kill fast, kill hard, or just straight up support me. :)

Female, no plans to make a big deal of it.
PC Origin ID is "dylia", lowercase D.

My ultimate dream was to create a team of bright pink krogan. It would be a shangri-la only comparable to the quadguard.

...Of course, I am female. But I suppose having "JerkfaceArsebutt" as an Origin ID balances it out a bit.

I would. Plus I don't like playing adept anyhows.

I want to play as male character.

But if I am forced to play female, like I am with Vanguard. I will play as one.

When I have the choice to or not to, I have no relation to the female character.  In this case, it doesn't bother me, nor would it bother me if they had some classes male only and some classes female only.
