As others have said this is not true. I roll with both male and female characters (I spec them differently) and you would never be able to tell by looking at the colored armor that I am a woman. I hate 'girly' colors like pinks and purples although I did use purple on my VSol because I thought it looked hilarious.

Only Real Men ™ can wear PURPLE and PINK.  They are *NOT* "girly colors".  Girly colors are black with navy blue cammo stripes.  Harumph.

Yup. OoleM invited me 'cause we're both in Bronze Effect and I was like... "Hey, I remember that person from my Rebellion Squadmate Roll Call thread. Cool!" And then had fun setting off your Drell Adept's biotic explosions with my Turian's Sentinel's Warp. Hee hee hee! 

Have also played once with wngmv... crazy laggy game where two people dropped and it was just me and her (I had assumed him) at Hydra versus Reapers. Her mic kept cutting out so I couldn't really hear anything, but I had my Turian Sentinel again and she had an Asari Adept... I just stripped the shields off everything and she and I blew a lot of stuff up. Fully extracted, too. Crazy game! LOL

I said that when you joined (minus the 'my' because it wasn't my thread). It was great to have someone make those explosions because usually noone does.

Demanding proof of a person's sex in a game seems pretty ridiculous to me.

I've had this happen to a female friend of mine while I was playing WOW, she used to join me once in a while in random heroics/bgs but nobody knew she was a girl. Then one day she goes to a heroic by herself and somehow she must have told them she was a girl because they started accusing her of faking gender and demanded proof that she was really a girl, either by using webcam chat or by using a mic.

The funny thing was that one of the people in that group was a guildie of mine and she told me I knew her. When I logged on he immediatelly asked me:"lol, there's a guy here trolling everybody saying she's a girl and she knows you. All fake, isn't it?"

Put yourself in a girl's shoes, would you want to play a game you like but be constantly accused of now being who you are and demanded proof everywhere you go? Sure, there are fakers around, but they eventually get spotted as the time goes by, no need to persecute them.

I love playing with girls, it is rather refreshing. Unfortunately the girl I met today told some, how should I put this, unconventional sexual practices that may scar me for life. But the 40 year old Australian mom I play with is a doll.
