Well this is me... sometimes.
Mostly because I subconciously lower the octave of my voice and I don't like its sound :huh:

...the girls I'm friends with though are especially talkative on the mic haha

But then again, there seems to be a vow of silence on Random/Random PC... even on gold :mellow:

All the girls I've played ME3 co-op with have lost interest in this game by now -- my wife included.

EDIT: No, I am not saying female players every say "I feel especially delicate and ladylike today, so I am playing Mass Effect 3!" I'm saying that, because ME3 is more accessible (as opposed to many others which actually target male-specific audiences) the multiplayer for it will likely have a more even mix. The whole point of my post is that there is no such thing as the 'gamer girl' - just gamers that happen to be female.


Precisely my point .. maybe i didnt put it right .. but what i meant is gamer girls became gamers not coz of ME3 but long back .. ME3 just keeps them even more into the online world :P .. in your case you didnt go MP coz of i-net issues .. but still you were a gamer as its your hobby

Well at least we're in agreement :wizard: Sorry, I just didn't know what all the "blah blahs" meant, so I filtered them, and read it as "gamers don't start playing online because of ME3"... that is, as "everyone playing ME3 MP already plays online MP elsewhere". I probably misinterpreted. My bad.

I have had the experience where the whole game i think i'm being talked at by some pre-pubescent boy and it's actually a (possibly prepubescent) girl.

a couple of times actually.

Suddenly the comments become a lot less annoying.....

(because then i just expect the constant nagging!!! HIYO! i kid.. i kid --- but seriously, all of the sudden it stopped being some pretentious kid telling me what to do and became some pretentious possibly grown woman telling me what to do... and maybe this is petty -- but i'm effing old. like, not real world effing old, but probably effing old compared to the majority of this games fanbase... and having some kid whose voice hasn't changed yet nagging me over the mic is a little irritating.)

I just keep my identity to myself. If people want to know my gender, then they can ask, and I'll tell them. Other than that, I've never really told anyone I'm a girl.

I use to have a mic, but after using it for a week, I didn't bother to replace it when it broke. Life was better this way.

I too hd same prob last time i was playing ... I ws the only one killing and they werent evn reviving me ...just trying to kill and then die .. Dnt knw wht they were doing

Does it matter? If someone's being helpful and supporting the team, then I don't care if it's a child or an adult. If someone's a complete ******, then (s)he's no less of a ****** to me if (s)he's an adult.

1. I don't know who this Robbaz is.

2. I don't know what a "reacon player" is. I assume you're talking about recon players, as in reconnaissance.
And if you think that they have the lowest IQ, I'm a bit worried about your IQ.

3. The avatar is that of a biotic user in ME3 MP (adept or sentinel)

4. By the way you talk I don't think you are as old as you think you are.
