I know what you mean. The moment I say "hi" or "hello" I already feel like I'm being treated diffirently... Guys start talking diffirently, as if they're talking to a child...
Some start being protective, attacking the enemies I attack in a feigned attempt to get it's attention.
Guys! 80% of the time, I play infiltrator. I got cloak! I can take care of myself! I don't need you to go tank the person I'm trying to headshot! I don't need you to take the bullets for me, cause 9/10 times you'll be standing in front of my scope (which is really frustrating I might add)!
I also play Sentinel and my build is centered around maximum shields through Fitness and damage reduction through Tech Armor. If anything I should be tanking you, not the other way around.
and lastly I also have an asari adept, centered around maximum Bionic Barrier, maximum power recharge reduction time and bubble stasis. Again here I don't need special treatment, if I'm in trouble I can spam bubble stasis = trouble solved.
Stop giving me the 'Knight in shining armor' routine. Believe it or not, I can actually take care of myself!
But there are also times where I'm being met with scorn. As if to say cause I'm a girl, I'm going to die on every wave or I can't aim properly...
P.S.: I'm on the PC by the way.
this is amusing guys actually change there personality and play style when playing with girls. I've played with a few girs in my time, if you're in a game I am under the impression you can handle your self not gonna assist unless asked to do it lol. as for personality I guess I don't swear as much around girls but thats a lesson taught to me from when I was a tiny child lol. As a fellow infiltrator I can't stand when someone jumps into my line of sight especially right as I am pulling the trigger.

Jazz everyone sucks at a game when they first play it. It's only by successive playing that you get better *nods* Though I'm no fan of the Co-op and multiplayer or MMO games the same holds true for single player games.
Hah, you're right, but at least in SP I'm not being rubbish in front of other people

Its not that bad I promise if you have played ME before which we all have you will do fine. Now the people who come in from like COD (decent game) and run around lone wolfing it kinda get on my nerves but other than that I have no problem reviving someone multiple times Cloak is helpfull for those kind of things.
Sorry for Double Post

cookie i have a quarian engineer but she is low level right now cause i stopped playing the Co-op. I also have an Asari Adept that is fully fleshed out with stasis bubble and maxed out survivability and then I have a Sentinel like you and is built like yours. Also it does tick me off when I use a stasis bubble and go for the biotic combo explosion and someone takes my shot or gets in my way or does something equally stupid. Like I can't take care of myself. I survive a lot longer than most of my squadmates because I fight tactically and smart, not stupid. Then again maybe I like being the last one to survive if possible. Sick satisfaction maybe, but I know that I survived the longest even if I do eventually get killed because I have no one watching my back anymore.
I don't care about killstealing so much in this game. I dead enemy is a dead enemy... But some male squadmember do tend to stick by me till the end which is really annoying.
When we both get in trouble cause of my recklessness, I can cloak out. My teammate usually can't... Which always ends up in me having to cloak back in and revive him.

Psh, you are going to die and you CAN'T aim properly. Has nothing to do with your gender
In seriousness, if I played PC, I'd totally steal all your kills not because of your gender but because I like to shoot things in the head. Then I'd turn around and steal McBro21's kill, and then do a 60 degree turn and steal XxShadowPocketxX kill.
Because you know what?
I like to shoot things in the head.
Oh wait, I already said that.

Getting in the way? All the easier to snipe your targets, my dear. Your scope is interupting construction of my fortress of dead troopers, and must be blocked by the glorious sight of my avatar.

good point .. although i'm usually too busy trying to stay alive while killing the bad guys, i don't have time to look at their stuff (unless its a krogan cuz they are just too hard to miss)

If you know how to aim downrange and understand that objectives are things that need doing, then we'll get along just fine. Regardless of gender. ^^

Not entirely true, TotalBiscuit is sporting a pink krogan and I saw a pink soldier yesterday with the name "Commander_Gobulcoque" ...
