Thats not true and I wasnt even talking about the Xbox, I simply stated PC gaming isnt the best for absolutely everything. Not to say its bad either.

Well... Fighting games and platform games are mostly better using a controller.

But you can buy controllers for the PC. However the fighting game scene is mostly big on consoles because the games are very much made to suit the consoles, and that it have always been done that way.
PC is still better hardware to game ANYTHING on, but it is just that most consolised games dont get PC support because it is easier just releasing all fighting games on consoles. Which is totally fine by me.

Shooters however (especially the 1st person kind) are , and always will be the PC area. Playing battlefield 3 on a console is the same as torturing the game beyond saving for obvious reasons.


So generally yes, consoles are good at some stuff, but it is not because of the hardware. It is because of tradition mixed with the controllers ability at some games.

Which is why i would love for PS4 and Xbox720 to be released in the near future. Better hardware. Better games for both PC and consoles, with each having their uniqueness. However when games are made for both strong PC´s and 7 year old consoles in mind, that is where the flame wars will begin.

I was about to say something similar. Seriously guys, your getting off topic into established flame war stuff. You all should know by now that this stuff is pointless, fruitless, and almost always destined for a flame war. Why would you even write that stuff?

PC... I have ME1 and ME2 for it, so it just makes more sense to continue with what I've got.

If I had gotten ME1 back when it first came out... then yeah, I would've gotten ME3 (and 2) for the 360.
