 Myself.  Because I'm pretty awesome and I could count on myself to be athletic enough to keep up ... well minus the cybernetics, biotics, and space steroids.
Honestly, I'd go become a scientist.  I'm not sure any of us, even the military, are cut out for this stuff.
Though, my ability to climb over objects and otherwise navigate the environment might make me invaluable...

I'll take you, Phaedon and didymos for fact-checking, CDRSkyShepard for infiltrating, Hathur in order to help preserve the blondes, Someone With Mass for when I need someone to strike a Cerberus facility without question of personal safety, Mesina2 to wow the enemy with his (Mario Shepard's) looks, Arcian and Cheez for banter, and lastly, Saphra because I feel like it's the closest to recruiting a batarian I'll ever get.

DLC squadmates are Dean for his youth and Chewin because I said so. There'll be lots of requests for EA and Bekkael, but I'll have evacuated them to safety rather than requested they join. Hey, someone's gotta restart the human race.

I think both me and Hathur have the blondes covered. 

Aaaaand I made the JeffZero list. I's a happy panda. 

Jeff would most def be on my list, with his elegant symphony of boom, crash and dakka. My roommate, too, because you need an Engie to fix things...as well as the obligatory burning and shocking. His drone is pretty handy for sniping those pesky people trying to shoot at me, too. Lol. Between the Deception Debacle and various other topics I've poked my head into, I've met so many people who would be "recruitable," but I can't think of them all right here, right now, right off the top of my head.

I'm afraid I'd forget about awesome people.  Though, I can safely say that I could probably find a use for everyone on my friends' list, at least.
