Which class do you think will be the king of insanity this time around? In ME2 it was arguably the Soldier with the Mattock followed up by the Vanguard.

Who will it be? 200% Soldier with Adrenaline Rush pumping? Vanguard charge-novas? Mass Adept chain detonations? 200% Engineer power spam with drones and flamethrower? Maybe perhaps the Sentinel with it's dual attack types for mitigating heavy shielding or will it be the Infiltrator jumping from cover to cover, sabotaging and one-shoting?

Which class do you think will be the king?

I think you just answered your own topic, each class can be a league of their own. Personally, I love biotic detonations so I'll say Adept.

There was no "king" of insanity in 2, and there will be no "king" of insanity in 3 as each class is perfectly lethal and able to dominate the game depending on playstyle.

My personal favourite was a Widow Infiltrator in 2, absolutely lethal.

Vanguard. Even without exploits.

Any class that will go light and spam its powers. For example Charge/Nova is high reward, no risk.

I think all the classes will be quite strong with access to Energy Drain or Stasis as a bonus power. Reave may be even stronger if it still works the same since health doesn't replenish like shields.

Not allowing bonus powers, I'd throw my support towards the Vanguard or Infiltrator being on a tier of their own.

I'm personally looking forward to playing the Sentinel with Stasis. I can relive my Mass Effect glory days as a Bastion Stasis spamming Sentinel. I just haven't decided what to equip with my Heavy Pistol an AR or Shotgun. An Infiltrator with Energy Drain will probably be my second playthrough.

I wish I knew how many points Shepard had at 60, so I can work on builds.

edit: I think it is 171 for others that are curious.

I think all classes can be "King" if you know how to use them, both in tactics and powers. It really depend on your gaming style: Some like to stay behind to control enemy movement, like Infiltrators or Engineers, others like to be shooting and making commands, like the Soldier and Sentinel. Others love to be at the front, controlling and destroying enemies, like Adept and obviously Vanguard.

It all depends on you!

Picture this sequence: Charge - Nova - pause menu to pick new target . Rinse and repeat. Game over.

Soldier without hesitation, because it's the only class which role cannot be taken by a squadmate (and he can emulate Vanguard and Infiltrator by himself).

Or a soldier that drops AR and gets Stasis as bonus, provided Armored opponents aren't the norm. You can actually fire off Stasis from within AR with the correct evolution, for massive weapon damage and only AR's cooldown essentially mattering.

Ashley and James Vega are soldiers and mass effect 3.

As best said by Highlander, "there can only be one" -- as is the same with being king of insanity. The "king" will be the class that can clear rooms the fastest with limited risk against all enemy types.

Squadmate's weapon damage are nerfed which means squadmates cannot take the soldier's part of a fight while squadmate's power aren't nerfed.

Which NPC can summon 3 Drones and then spam Chain Overload or Sabotage?

Adept. The Gods of ME3. (Well I hope) They were beast in ME1 if you got them the Assault Rifle.

Where is your third drone?
Beside that Tali can spam almost as well as Shepard.

Bonus power Protector Drone. Looking at the game files it can incapacitate and has 3 the three target talent too.

Tali can summon one Drone (probably Protector) but we don't know if she gets both Sabotage and Overload (Teammates only get 4 powers). Would be unlikely since she needs to have two bonus powers. Protector Drone would be one probably Energy Drain for the other.

Even better if she can though because 2 Chain Overloads are better then 1. Remove 3-6 shields/barriers instantly and stun organics or 2 large AoE overheat/explode guns and hack AI. Even got Incinerate for armour.

Combat Drone + Turret + Defense Drone-or-Decoy (bonus power) + Sabotage/Hacked enemies

Engineers can probably outnumber the enemy in ME3.

Based on my experience with the multiplayer demo there's no class that'll stand out in singleplayer. Arguably the weakest class in the demo, the soldier, gets a massive boost in singleplayer with the ability to slow time. Infiltrators get this too and they're one of the strongest classes in the demo, but who knows how powerful invis hopping will be or how limited ammunition is. Also the infiltrator's slow time isn't as powerful as the soldier's.

There will be classes and builds that can move through the game fastest and easiest. Those are kings.

The reviews say the classes are imbalanced
