Always been like that.

There will be classes and builds that can move through the game fastest and easiest. Those are kings.

There was no "king" of insanity in 2, and there will be no "king" of insanity in 3 as each class is perfectly lethal and able to dominate the game depending on playstyle.
My personal favourite was a Widow Infiltrator in 2, absolutely lethal.

Adept. The Gods of ME3. (Well I hope) They were beast in ME1 if you got them the Assault Rifle.

From what I've seen in the demo, Infiltrators will be crazy powerful this game. 10+ second duration for tactical cloak, sabotage, incinerate, sticky grenades, disruptor + cryo ammo.... but overall, I think the classes are remarkably balanced this time around. They all seem capable of inflicting major damage on the enemy in their own way.
I was playing on Gold and only managed to die by an Atlas grabbing me if I screwed up in the timing of my backflip. Not a single thing could kill me besides the stupid Atlas melee...LiquidLogic2020 wrote...
I would say probably engineer or vanguard, the engineer with both drone and turret seems very good at holding the enemy back and the vanguard can't be killed with the nova exploit.

Wrong if you tried playing insanity with anything other than a soldier it's nearly impossible. Not impossible but close to. (Sentinel can be used as well if your elite level shooter) All adept powers were useless because everybody had armor or shields. and I think that ME3 powers were built a little better to help make it possible to be dominate with more classes. In the long run I think sentinel will be very powerful.HolyAvenger wrote...

So one bonus power everyone can get and a different use of limited grenade everyone get anyway.themaxzero wrote...
Bonus power Protector Drone. Looking at the game files it can incapacitate and has 3 the three target talent too.
I don't think Tali will actually loose powers.Tali can summon one Drone (probably Protector) but we don't know if she gets both Sabotage and Overload (Teammates only get 4 powers). Would be unlikely since she needs to have two bonus powers. Protector Drone would be one probably Energy Drain for the other.
Even better if she can though because 2 Chain Overloads are better then 1. Remove 3-6 shields/barriers instantly and stun organics or 2 large AoE overheat/explode guns and hack AI. Even got Incinerate for armour.

Adepts might really have a chance to pull ahead here. Stasis bubble is extremely powerful.

What does Stasis have to do with the Adept class?

No. Just no. Go youtube an insanity playthrough of 2 with any class and you'll see players absolutely dominate.
I personally have played ME2 Insanity with every class bar Engineer (will get around to it, my engineer is still stuck in ME1) and its absolutely possible to own the game. Widow infiltrator was the most lethal, vanguard the most fun, sentinel the tankiest, adept and soldier tied for the most boring (warp bombs and shooting, yawn),

Infiltrator hands down. With Tactical cloak being buffed on all fronts but cooldown, and barely even nerfed there. And if you can bypass enemies and hit checkpoints like you could in 2, all the better, as this'll allow you to mitigate any bull**** level scaling that might be in the game.

Yeah, Infiltrator is best in ME2 anyway, not soldier, proof:

Pretty sure the ME2 boards came to a concensus that Soldiers did it better than Infiltrators because of AR giving them a damage boost.
Course I'm just saying what I saw over there. Of course it can be agreed that regardless of which one you say is better. Soldiers and Infiltrators were pretty much the speed demons bullet rapists of Insanity in ME2.
