Quitting, there needs to be some deterrent

Both my teammates quit on me leaving my level 5 ass to do the mission solo. WTF? The game doesn't even tell you that a teammate quit and all you get is a warning saying you'll lose your progress when you do. I think it should charge you 1,000 credits for every game you quit and it increases by 1,000 for every consecutive game you quit. Even if you have no credits it should make you go negative.
It's a multiplayer game. People rely on you, you can't just go quitting willy nilly and leaving everyone hanging.

Sometimes leaving the game does not happen by choice.

So? 1,000 credits isn't enough to make you need to stay in a game if you have an emergency or something.HolyAvenger wrote...
nah. sometimes there's situations out of your control.
If you lag a lot you honestly shouldn't even be playing MP.frustratemyself wrote...
Do you want people to be charged x number of credits every time they drop out due to laggy internet connection?

No, but you if you're lagging you're most likely not having fun and you're not doing your team any favors so why are you playing?frustratemyself wrote...

Some may people have an emergency or they have been invited by another friend. I mean come on, would you rather play with some stranger or play with friends?
Not everyone has friends that play ME3.

On bronze, you should be able to solo it pretty easily with just your guns. Let alone your powers.

Excuse me? I said friends that don't play ME3, not friends in general, retard. Why am I socially inept for not having friends that like every single videogame that I do?Rukioish wrote...

Why would he be socially inept for not having friends who are gamers? No, really.Rukioish wrote...

If his friends are more into, let's say, hiking or tripping or whatever, it makes him to be socially inept?
I think that's a flawed logic.

I'm serious. If you lag constantly stay out of multiplayer. It's not like I would encourage someone with uncontrolled asthma to run a marathon.DuckSoup wrote...

It acutally does. In the right corner where the kills are listed it always lists players who leave or join. And if you dont take a look at the status there then you are probably one of those people who also dont notice how a teammate got killed, run to revive said teammate and end up being killed by the same enemy/turret because they weren't paying attention to what killed their teammate.

Whatever. I still think quitting is BS and the game should do more to quell it and no not giving players their XP and Credits doesn't count because that stuff isn't saved until the end of the game anyway. It's not a mechanic it's just a happenstance of the design.Hyrist wrote...
