lvl 1 (character) players on Gold.

bahahahaha

I really did lol, people here at work looked at me funny.

Personally, imho they're all easy. Obviously, some are easier than others...but once you figure out a method it's all gravy.

My infiltrator has the least trouble with any of them. I can take out an Atlas with 3 cloaked canopy shots, and anything else (with full barrier/shield/armor/hp) with a single headshot. Using the widow helps ;) I won't play my sniper infiltrator until I unlock the widow in the full game.

My engineer is the next easiest. Overload shields/barriers, spam incinerate & phalanx till dead. The end.

Krogan is the simplest...melee. I have successfully soloed an atlas with nothing but melee, just to see if I could. It took maybe 5-6 HM attacks and it was down.

Vanguard...nova and charge spam, with the obligatory shotgun blast when I feel like it.

On my adept I generally avoid the atlases, simply because she (Asari, obv) is only level 13 and warp isn't leveled up yet...on everything else I just stasislol then warp and it's over.

Turrets just because they are harder to see and I've gotten chewed up from entering an area not seeing the thing and then hearing that ripping sound. The worst are the chain deaths and people try and revive the guy who died from the turret.

Toss in that they don't die when a wave ends and I've seen a squad get killed between waves running for ammo and blundering into a turret.

Cerberus Troops will include ‘Phantoms’ and ‘Assassins’ [PS3M]

Please note it did not say Nemesis. There were no Assassins in the Demo so I am sure they are far superior to the Phantom.
Ok,
Nemesis are Shielded with Sniper Rifles
Phantoms are Barriers with Melee Weapons
Assassins are Tech Cloaks with Melee Weapons
(I would assume due to Assassins are invisible.)

PS: Sorry I wrote Turrents - It is Turrets.

Yeah Turrets are the biggest fear I have unless I play a sniper character or someone able to shoot at it from a distance. I mostly play on Silver if that matters.

You missed the ????

Yeah I have to say if I'm on my adept, phantoms are just playthings. Unless they somehow make it near me and then it's CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP.

Turrets are annoying but easy enough to take down, as long as you have cover and don't run out in front of them.

Atlases are easy. Just make lots of distance.

Turrets- if you know they're there you can avoid them, but if you don't it's easy to walk around a corner and die before you can get out of the way.

Phantoms are death too if you don't see them until they are within melee range, but you can run away from them.

Atlas are so slow they aren't really scary.

In gold, turrets are you usually the biggest problem for my team, since there are so many engineers running around and setting them up, plus some are invisible due to a glitch. I don't care about phantoms because I'm usually an Asari Adept and even if I'm not they're not THAT hard to deal with if you see them coming. An Atlas doesn't really do anything but take a lot of bullets... I don't think one has every killed me.

I guess the most impressive thing I've seen, was a pack of 4 phantoms coming at me (and the certainty that there was a second pack on the other side of the map).

Ok true News on the Assassin :
Per Casey Hudson, "Cerberus heavy troopers wear enormous armour, Assassins use the same Biotics as Shepard and Phantoms use blades."

Please note: This means that Adept Statis that you use to one shot could be used against you.

I mostly fear phantoms. At least, when not playing an asari yourself, a phantom or two is very scary, especially if your team's adept is busy showing off his "Mad Widow Skillz".

Phantoms for the most part, they should really have to break your shields before they stab you.

Turrets. I main the asari adept and human vanguard, both of which have no problem with phantoms. Atlas' are just generally easy to take down.

Turrets are the only of the three that ever really one-shots me (when I get caught by surprise). They're fairly easy to take down once you get behind cover, but if you happen to walk around a corner and not know it's there, it can usually finish you before you escape.

Depends on the class you play. Playing my asari adept  phantoms are a joke, while atlas and turrets are hard to kill. Playing my infiltrator atlas and turrets aren't a problem, while phantoms can give me much trouble

Turrets are scary if you run face first into one or if there is one sitting over your dying friend. Otherwise I don't mind them as I can sap their shields and snipe them pretty quick.

I've gotten pretty good at killing phantoms from a distance but if one sneaks up on you it can quickly be a disaster.

Atlas is not scary at all. Easy to run from and flank, they have tons of shields and armor but they are so slow it's not hard to pick them off.

Phantoms when they force me out in the turrets line of fire.
Else any of them are just more frags.
Atlas are nothing to worry, I usually take them out as soon as I see them with one rocket on bronze. On silver I keep the rockets for the last waves when there are lots of Atlas on field.

So drop a stasis bubble right on top of your body and stand in it...

Knowing where they are is the key. Listen to all the sound cues (and always peek around corners):

Turrets = rapid machinegun sounds, the sound of an engineer setting up a turret
Atlas = they sound like a heavy giant stomping the ground
Phantom = synthetic voice/chatter much like the nemesis, warp bullet/blade sounds

I personally find the phantoms to be more of a hassle than the other two especially when they come in pairs/packs. Stay/move in a group of two/with your teammates, you'll find they are much much easier to take down when you're working together.

Turrets can't run you down and instantly kill you with full shields and health, in such a way that you can't be revived.

So, yeah.

Fear? None.

Atlas are easy. They are slow, very foreseeable and right down on my priority with the Nemesis. Unless they are with crowds, then I try to orchestrate Biotic Bomb attacks vs them (they do wonders in taking out the surrounding troops as they have a habit of piling up behind them).

Phantoms are merely annoying. Especially the ones you never saw that insta-gibbed your guts.

But I am positively mad at turrets. When it's one thing I don't like it is something denying me the battlefield. And they do so quite effectively until dealt with. However I do just wander by them if it's feasible.

What I most despise is the plain Assault Trooper. I have died unproportionally more deaths at the hands of some lone, stray Assault Trooper that shot me in the back than from any other sources combined. Paired with their numbers on the battlefield they are my demonic spiders.

Turret.

I can handle Phantoms without breaking a sweat so long as I see them before they get into melee range. Atlas are a joke if you have a rocket launcher.

Shotguns vs Phantoms are actually pretty effective as long as you don't stand at let her pull the long shiny sword between your ribs that is.

I fear none. A horde of Phantoms can be troubling, but nothing which cannot be beaten with some clever manoeuvring.
