Many people have.  It is my specialty.  However, 5 Phantoms are a hell of a lot more trouble than 5 turrets, or 5 Atlases


Definetly more trouble than 5 Atlases, but I would say that 5 Turrets and 5 Phantoms are equally about as likely to wipe the party out.

Phantoms are the bane of all things.

It's mostly just the insta-kill ability. When you fight them, it's either make or break with the first few shots...

It's exhilarating to no end.

C'mon, turrets are not too much problem even for my Vanguard if you be careful look around before entering certain areas, spam charge and nova can also take down turrets. And phantoms are pretty much a joke for Vanguard, unless there are more than phantoms, like Nemisis shooting from you back or Atlas etc. Nevertheless, i think the most annoying dangerous thing is the all-in-one cover system, just had a game when i (as infiltrator) tried to dodge phantom blade behind me only made me revive my buddy in front of me, and there's more than one buddy's down in front of me, so I can't run or dodge, and eventually...

Rule Number 1 of ME3 Multiplayer:

There are ALWAYS more Phantoms.


Also, I have seen Vanguard charge a Phantom and the Phantom just takes no damage and insta-kills the player...
