The manga looks pretty cool. I also love the Kktobukiya Liara figure, wish they would make some for Ashley and Morinth and Aria... Oh and Kasumi. What I don't like is they reduced the Liara figure's bust size, the original size and look was fine.

Anime is a ide discriptor. TONS of stuff falls under it. Yeah, Pokemon/digimin/Dragonball - I don't like em either, and they are anime, but they are only a tiny part of anime.

I agree that anime is a pretty blanket term at this point considering the sheer amount of different series and creators that Japan has produced.

On a different note I kind of wish they had expanded the background information of this comic so we could have seen more characters done in this art style.

When they changed the design, I cancelled my preorder.

And IMO this manga explanation is already better than ME3's "alleged" endings.

They are probably in certain Japanese mangazines and mmonthly/weekly manga books as advertisements. I don't know specific ones, however.

Anime is the Japanese term for *anything* animated. They even call American Disney movies anime.

Outside of Japan, anime means anything animated made by Japan. And Japan isn't by any means the same genre or art style wise, just like there's lots of different US cartoons and (insert other country) animated shows/movies. Anime runs the gamut of stuff for kids like Pokemon, stuff for adults but isn't at all sex/porn-related (check out something like Monster - that show is a Silence of the Lambs-style psychological thriller but without the brains eating), and so on.
