- singularity to level 2, then 1 (-2) point(s) in pull
- then max singularity, choose heavy evolution
- warp to 2, then max throw, choose heavy evolution
- then max warp, choose your fitting evolution
- then either level up your passiv and bonus power in tandem or your passiv first
take miranda/thane with unstable warp with you as long as your own warp isn't evolved.
that's at least how i do it.

Barrier kind of stinks medi-gel does the same thing once you get the tech around mid game with a smaller cooldown. I'd get Stasis it is great for only one point.

I'd add at least a point to all the abilities excluding Shockwave, so you can use all the combos. After that I'd max Heavy Singularity so when you get to Horizon you can lockdown Harbinger. Then I'd max your passive, followed by Heavy Warp then Heavy Throw and Pull Field.

Ok I'll change Bonus power to Statis once I get Mordin. Can you provide a link or specifics for Biotic Combos. Its been awhile since I've been a adept in this game. Been one in Normal diff. But never used the combos really.

Pull/Singularity->Warp big aoe damage/cc (it owns)
What I do early game on my Adept is put Singularity on the tougher guys and have Garrus or Mordin strip defenses on the weaker ones. I then Pull and Miranda Warps it. After that shoot the guy in Singularity and then his defenses should be gone then pull him and shoot him or use Throw. If there is just one guy alone, I'll shoot the defense off pull then throw him.
Later game once you have more squadmates with Pull you can use your Warp to detonate, but until Horizon you just have Jacob. But I don't like hauling him everywhere, so I ignore Warp until I get more squadmates.

I level my traditional Adepts slightly differently:
1) If you can import a level 3 Adept, take Stasis as a bonus power (although I read somewhere that there is a bug on PC that prevents you from taking Stasis until you recruit Mordin). Otherwise, take Slam.
2) Put at least one point into your four main powers (Warp, Singularity, Pull, Throw). At level 4, my Adept looks like this:
2 - Warp
1 - Throw
2 - Singularity
1 - Pull
0 - Shockwave
0 - Biotic Mastery
1 - Bonus power
3) Maximize your passive for the cooldowns. Bastion is considered better for its increased duration.
4) Maximize Singularity to Heavy Singularity.
5) Maximize Pull to Pull Field.
6) Up to you. I usually maximize Warp to Heavy Warp first, then Throw to Heavy Throw.
