The men are exaggerated to look powerful, while the women aren't
I don't see how it's second class treatment when both sexes are made to look "sexy".
You are misrepresenting my argument. This is not what i said, and my stance is the men characters aren't made to look "sexy" in the same sense the women characters are.
Incidentally, let's not try to use the "even ancient greeks portrayed the sexes this way so that's legit" argument -- it should be noted that it's merely a sign that unequal treatment and the different attitudes towards genders associated with it date back as long as few millenia.
http://www.angelfire...a3/ancientchix/ for example.
Superhero comics are just incredibly bad at sexualising everything because of the audiance they're trying to attract.
Nevertheless they still do manage to portray their female characters as powerfully built, tall and very fit -- instead of "very big and strong men and very small and curvy women". In other words, they're a case of what you claim to be also norm in games, that is 'sexualizing everyone equally'. And by contrast demonstrate that games --and ME in particular-- fall relatively short in this regard.

The point is that true gender equalism is not possible based on the vast differences between male and female.
My point is to object to different
treatment given to characters based on the genders. Because treating people equally is not only certainly possible, but should be striven for.
