I'm sick of being told this game is better with Kinect!

PC version > console versions (Not because I'm a PC elitist. I own both PS3 and xbox 360)

Yay! Let the flame war begin! Jk. *Chooses a paragon option to reconcile console and PC players

You know what this game is better with? Pie. Anybody here like Pie? What Pie do you like?

Are we back to pie? You must have found your mittens. I'd like a nice strawberry pie with whipped cream. Mmmpf, and some Skinny Cow Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches.

As for the Kinect business, I think it's just silly, but I'm old fashioned. The Kinect, Move, and Wii can all stick it, as far as I'm concerned.

I have no idea why I am even bothering to post on this black hole of a thread, but I guess I like punishment.

As a PS3 owner and player, I would have loved to have seen gameplay using the Move controller. 1st person & 3rd person shooters (although ME3 is not an exact shooter), especially when using the Sharp Shooter and Nav controller in conjunction, really adds to the gameplay experience of a game. I actually would have loved even more if ME3 on PS3 was in 3D. I actually enjoy playing my games in 3D when it's available.

On to the topic: If you do not like the "better with kinect," because you are either a PC or PS3 player, then ... why exactly would that slogan bother you? If you do not own a kinect, then you literally do not know why or what you would or would not experience. If your money is going to either the PC or PS3 version then it's your wallet saying to them, well I like it "better" on this platform.

I look forward to trying ME3 on Kinect to see how it works. I'll reserve judgement until then.

i think kinect support should've been an optional download from the marketplace, freeing up space for stuff people actually wanted, like holster animations, decent facial animations and realistic hair.

also i have seen the pc version, and dear god it makes the xbox version look like it was on the zx spectrum

I keep wondering why people use kinect and such, when in the license it has stuff where they can watch you with it anytime they want, and since Microsoft is an American company, it means the governments of this world have total access to it too.
I'm not a conspiracy-nut, but I do think it's a bit silly to put a camera in your home that can be used in such ways, especially when people would not let strangers enter their home and watch them all the time.

Its the subtle change that kills you, like boiling someone from originally cold water.

Ok. Leme explain this.

Kinect gives you a real feeling of being in the war itself. Without the Kinect immersion, we will be playing just like ME1 and 2. I am a proud owner of Kinect.

More explanation.
If you are sheppard in real life. You cant stay muted and expect a controller to pick what you want to say. I always want to join the army but cannot since im deaf. But Kinect gives me the chance to do like a squad leader. giving orders.

As for PS3, there are some PS3 players who are jealous that Xbox has better system due to Kinects motion sensor since PS3 has some type of wand which makes you feel EXACTLY like Harry Potter. Ohh a wand, nice im harry potter.

Xbox says: Ohh Kinect. Nice. Now I can do what I want with no limits

Kinect is EXACTLY like an old Sierra adventure game, it's all about figuring out which words the game will react to.
Since you're deaf I wonder if the game will understand what you're trying say.

I hate motion tech no matter what its on, its slowly ruining gaming and tbh kinect is the worst of the motion tech

Let me say as a PS3 owner I am offended by the idea that this game is somehow better with some gimmicky piece of junk that nobody needs like the Kinect.
If anything hearing my own voice give commands and then hearing Mark Meer speak as Shepard breaks the immersion since our voices sound nothing alike.  It's much more practical to just press a button plus I know the voice commands for the Xbox don't work 100 percent of the time.  Not going to be very practical when a command fails while playing on insanity with Geth/Collectors/Reapers or whatever shooting fireballs up my butt.

If anything the game is better with BLUE RAY because like with the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 we won't have to change discs thus adding to the immersion and giving us a better overall product.

are you serious you have started a war  and it is better with kinect my kinect works perfectly :P

Ugh, I hate kinect. I'm glad I didn't buy one, Mass Effect 3 IMO would be better without it.

I will say that I have a kinect and its pretty fun for a while, but like all gimicks, it gets boring after a while.
Also, i think that its fine with the dialogue stuff, but by the time you have said "Liara, Singularity" you could have pressed the button and the action would already be taking place.

Question: In the demo, in the area where you can go upstairs, can you tell your squadmates to go up them? In the maingame, can you tell them to 'Vega go left/right' will they?

If 'Yes' Opinion: This is not non-Kinect friendly. My team got MAULED when I looked up and said "go there" (with the d-pad) and they ran into the middle of the room. >8(
