Hey I just wanted to know how the higher and lowering N7 rank works. Can your N7 rank even lower? I am an N7 90 but I have never seen my rank lower, only raise and usually on a non-sequential increase. I know this is a demo and may be different in full game but would like to know how it will work.

Also does anyone know how big the full game MP is compared to the demo? I mean their are only two maps available now and yet I don't tire of playing it.

Thanks to all who respond.

Your N7 rank is the summation of all of your class levels, so no it can not go lower. It does max out at 120, however.

As far as I can tell your N7 level reflects the combined total level of all the chars you have. For instance if you have 3 chars, say a lvl 2 adept, and 2 lvl 5 sentinels, you would have an N7 of 12. If you created a new adept it would go to N7 14 because of the 2 lvls in the char. As a guess i think that would mean a max N7 lvl of 480. which is 6 classes with 4 chars each at a max lvl of 20 all together.

It's the level of all your classes, not characters, making new characters as aliens do not raise your rank.

If that were true the max rank for the demo would be 240 (8x20), however the real cap is 120 (6 classesx20)

HOWEVER, we are not sure how the promoting system will work in the full game, there's a lot of speculation that it will reset your char, lowering your rank by 20, or that it will reset your char and leave your rank, allowing you to level up again and raise your n7 rank unlimited times, but we don't really know until we have the full game.

The classes level up at the same time.  If you have a level 12 human adept, the asari adept is also at level 12.
