I've got a big problem with my Dragon Age game. When I actually go to the final battle my game doesn't let me finish and I got stucked in mostly empty Denerim City Gate location. The game starts to act weirdly after the landsmeet. I chose to kill Loghain and marry Alistar and queen Elisa. Afterwards I am moved to Arl Eamon's estate from where I move to Redcliff. There I've spoken with the old-new Grey Warden and Eamon but there the weirdness begins.
At the start of this conversation the Grey Warden adresses Loghain as if he is in the party and then I see Alistar in the picture but Loghain's voice answers! Then I move there to talk with this Grey Warden in private and once again he acts as I have Loghain in the party. Afterward I go to my room where suddenly Morrigan appears (even that I have her in my party all the time). From what I understood, she was supposed to leave me at some moment for unknown reasons, but my Morrigan didn't do so, even that this new Morrigan appears telling me she has a solution to my problem with Archdemon. She insist that she lies with Loghain and sends me to talk with him about it. I cannot do that because there is no Loghain present as I slay him at landsmeet. So I am forced to tell her the plan is off and then she leaves, but my in-party Morrigan stays.
After that the army marches and I am moved to location with tower and burned Denerim in sight. Queen Elisa talks for a second and then I am released to walk around but I can't do anything. She won't talk with me anymore and neither do any of the soldiers. I can go about 3 minutes to reach the burning city gates move around and go nuts, but I can't move in the game whatsoever.
I think the game broke for me at the moment I saved Queen Elisa, Ser Cauthrien stopped me and I've surrendered. After a while I've appeared in the prison naked, but suddenly out of nowhere my companions appeared in the party fully geared in my prison cell. I've escaped the prison unhindered and moved on with my quest but I think this was the breakpoint where it started to act weirdly. Also when I go to camp my followers do not spread out but Iam still in party with Alistar, Morrigan and Wynne all the time.
If you have any idea how to fix this, please let me know. I might even send you my save if you with to check the variables or whatever.
I use unmodded version of Dragon Age with patch 1.01 and had no problems so far.
