I sent a pm asking if there is more to the ending than just space ships.

For example:

Gain the Turian race's allegiance. Turians send ships for final battle.
Gain the Asari race's allegiance. Asari send ships for final battle.
Etc etc.

Is there more to it than just that?

Im curious as well to mirandas role in the game. Not detailed but slightly more than vague. Also, I hope the perfect ending isnt the only way shep live. it would Kinda just make it a puzzle game to find out how to not die, lol.

since i'm on my me2 playthrough to get ready for me3 right now, i would like to ask:
what are the consequences of romancing miranda in me2? can you romance her again?
does it make any difference if you romance ashley in me1 and miranda in me2.
(i'm asking myself if it would be better not to romance miranda if it doesn't effect me3, since it probably would be better for the ashley romance coming from me1)

1. Raging at the end of Mass Effect 3 is bound to happen for some people. There's already rage in the "Sword and Hammer" thread which tells the endings 90 or so percent legit.

2. Miranda has a moderate role throughout the game. You go on a few missions with her etc. etc. And yes, you can continue her romance, though she isn't a perma squad member.

No. My friends mother works at a facility that packages strategy guides (among other stuff) and ships them around the United States to be sold. She's allowed to bring home 5 "things" (i.e. strategy guides) for a single product, to distribute to friends and family. She knows myself and her son--my friend--really like Mass Effect.

I've heard that the ending is an "unhappy" one. Is that true? Are there multiple ending options? Some happy, some sad??

Without giving too much away: The endings are...pretty bittersweet. Some are happier than others, however, most or pretty...unhappy. (Being a dark sci-fi series I guess it's to be expected).

Thanks for the info OP. Appreciate you keeping this thread spoiler free. Would you be able to tell us the following:

1) What are the import bonuses? As I understand it, you start at the level you were in ME2, but does the guide go into details about what and how other things are gained when you import a ME2 save?

2) How many squad points does Shepard get per level to spend on powers?

3) How do you get the bonus powers from squad mates? Does each squad mate have a personal mission like in ME2?
