Hello there

(Brace yourselves, this is a big one) <Insert 'That's what she said' comment here>

So ladies and gentlemen of the ME Community, after downloading the ME3 Demo when it became available i immediately hopped onto the SP portion of the game and was quite literally thrust in a sense of nostalgia. It's been quite a long time since I've played any ME game so seeing Commander Shepard in all his former glory made me smile.

He's quite frankly the Gold standard of Ass Kicking in my books and fighting alongside Admiral Anderson made the whole experiance even better, which isn't a good thing for me for one reason only and that's because i still have to wait until release day before i can finally sit down and let ME3 consume my soul.

With that said after i had finished the surprisingly action packed SP mode the Multiplayer option loomed, i have to admit i felt a little hesitant at first simply because it's Mass Effect, I've only known ME to be a single player only experiance but Developers need to keep things fresh right? so it would seem logical to add another format to the ME Franchise.

So delving into Multiplayer and glancing at all the different options to choose from including customization of weapons / characters i felt at home strangely, so i did my thing and went about picking my first class which happened to be the Soldier.

Entering a Bronze lobby it became clear i was a complete noob, I assumed the N7 <Insert numerical value here> was the current rank of that particular individual (87, 80, 62) but since i was a duck out of water to the Multiplayer aspect of ME3 i let it slide.

Looking through the Multiplayer options i noticed a box appear on my slot showing only a red X which i became curious to know what it meant, finding out that my fellow companions had already seen enough of me and wanted to kick me out but unfortunately for them due to their reaction being faster then a turtle with one leg the countdown timer reached zero and the game began.

Not being a stranger to the FPS / 3PS genres i quickly got to grips with the controls and 10 minutes later i was catching up point wise to the top dog. Everything went smoothly and i earned some cold hard credits to spend on the new Booster Pack feature, not only that but i also recieved a friend request from one of other team members so i must have done something right.

Nonetheless i had a few more games which happened to be with my newly aquired friend from above and something stud out for me like a sore thumb, something which to me is unheard of in this modern day era, ok i might be exaggerating because i know it exists but the teamwork in this community is outstanding.

I've played a lot of games in my time and the game I've enjoyed other then my creature comforts (ME, Fallout Series, Bioshock) is Battlefield, don't roll your eyes and sigh lol it's my personal preference and i happen to like it a lot, but the one thing about that sticks out about that game and it's fanbase / community is teamwork... wait I'm being to generous let's go with lack thereof.

Good luck getting revived or somebody actually playing their roles properely in a public match, ok so not everyone that plays Battlefield is like that but seeing as i had to make my own Platoon and gain over 75+ members makes me think otherwise. If you want teamwork play with friends it's that simple.

I don't know weather it was a lucky streak or praise from a Promethean God but every lobby i entered we acted as a unit, one moment sticks out the most as amung all the action one of our team members was downed on the front platform / landing pad (Firebase White / Silver) surrounded by a group comprising of 2x Guardians 1x Nemesis and 1x Engineer with Turret.

He/She wasn't getting up so i assumed their medi-gels have already expired thats when me and a Turian mounted an offensive attack hitting them with everything we had while making a push to our fallen comrade.

Things got pretty ugly quite rapidly and it was then when a Krogan came streamrolling past me heading right into the heart of the beast absolutely annihilating the turret and sending the Engineer who clearly didn't know what was happening over the edge of the platform while me and the Turian finally got the upper hand on the Guardians thanks to the Mobile tank which just smashed through their defenses exposing their soft spots.

He was our Krogan in shiny Blue Armor that took the bull by the horns and sucker punched the ******, allowing me to pick up our comrade and launch another offensive attack on one poor Assualt Trooper who thought hiding behind cover would conseal his whereabouts.. Wrex found him though

At the end of the day i can't wait to finally be able to play the full game, i can't actually believe a Demo has kept me engrossed this much, well done Bioware.

Look i could go on and on because i like to give my thoughts on games I've anticipated, but this post is already a giant wall of text. So if you have made it this far i thank you for taking the time to read it.

I haven't mentioned some little problems which have already arisen, no point in regurgitating old news which most of you have already read on here, but they don't bother me so it's all good from my side.

So again thank you, take it easy and stay frosty people.
