Phantoms are worth a wonderfully large amount of XP points. They are worth the trouble to kill. Turrents on the other hand are like 75xp but still drop people just as fast. The only annoying thing about phantoms is that their heavy melee assassinates as well so no revival.  

It stays in one place and has a very predictable firing pattern. Really, they're easy to take care of as long as you pay attention.

Turrets have killed me more times than every Nemesis, Phantom and Atlas combined.

Engineers are a top priority for killing when they appear.

Though the amount of times my teammates focus on random assault troopers while an Engineer just strolls by? SGHDSHAGDJHSA.

I can take out solo turrets on gold with my Vanguard but OMG I hate it when there are two on the platform. That is I am caught with my pants down n00b Vanguard moment ==> gold run failed:(

Thats frekkin funny. I've learned to watch for them (after quite a few of those, oopps, crapola, get me outta here moments!!) and NOT help people that have fallen (sorry dudes you're on your own, hope you have some medi and can figure out how and which direction to run when you come too) My engineer overload does wonders taking them out.

I managed to save my life ONCE when I mistakenly by charging into a group with a turret by bouncing around enough that I managed to destroy its shields and either shockwave or someone else's ability blew it up.
