GuildWars 2 is coming out this year and maybe Diablo 3, so it's actually going to be a tough battle for ME 3 to get the title of Game of the Year.

Diablo 3
DOTA 2

Honestly this year seems to have more "smaller" games that need a sequel, example Nintendo with their 3Ds and Wii U games coming out....though Valve, Blizzard, Rockstar, and Bioware are all going to be fighting for that title for sure.

Sorry but I dont count that inane garbage as the real GOTY awards, the only ones I consider official is the DICE awards. All other are either full of possible bias or decided by cro-mags.

Bioshock one was awesome 2 was kinda meh, but one was very good and it won a load of goty awards the year it came out

No it doesn't. That's only Spike TV's GOTY, no different than GameSpot's or IGN's GOTY. There's no such thing as "official" GOTY.

The Oscars don't determine universal Best Picture and neither does MTV Movie Awards. They're just "awards"

Probably. It will definately be for me. But all the hype for Diablo 3 might win GOTY this year if it comes out. I loved Diablo 2 LoD, best RPG I've ever played. Still is. But I'm not that hyped for either D3 nor first expansion of SC2 because of ME3.

COD doesn't win GOTY all the time really, most of the time they win "BEST SHOOTER" "BEST MULTIPLAYER" and "BEST 360 GAME"...

I think after a few slipped dates you lose your enthusiasm to keep your sanity.
