COD is an ok game but really overhyped IMO, Halo 4 also is overhyped for a game made by a company that has never made videogames before and doesn't want to show a single screenshot of their game (and i must make it clear that i loved the Bungie made Halo games)

Cod 1, 2, and 4 were all good.   Everything else in the series is a complete joke.

WaW was good-Only for the fact that it brought the Zombies mode into the series.

Edit- And I think Black Op 2 will be good. I liked Black ops 1 so I am confident that this will be better than Sh**ty warfare 3.

Nominated...yes. Will it win? Depends on how it does and the other games coming out do this year. Personally I would love it to win, but I think that some other game will win it.

Ah yes, opinions.  We have dismissed that claim.

On a serious note, I can't hate Halo.  However, I don't have to like it anymore.

ME 3 can contend for GOTY if its sales are high, but also if it makes people more immersive, the RPG/Action/Story mode turns out to be a huge hit, and the Multiplayer definitely feels less tacky.

If its sales for one console are already high from Pre-Orders, and it succeeds, it can get up there.

I found it rather underwhelming, to be honest. The stuff with Cortana towards the end was pretty interesting but that's about it. In my opinion, ODST blows it out of the water in terms of presentation and setting.

Well, ODST had its own exceptional qualities. I was pretty skeptical at the idea of a Noir-setting, but they managed to pull it off really well with the environments and music.
