The thing is it's pretty much impossible to rewrite "deception". Everything is rubbish from the story to the characters. There isn't ONE page that doesn't contain something to rage on.
They should trash it and write about something else.

I bought Deception months ago, but haven't been able to bring myself to read it. I'll probably burn the copy I have sacrificially when they do the reprint, but maybe after I see what people have to say. Or I could frame it with the heading "Biggest ****ing Mistake Ever."
