Is it only me that found funny that when you complete the 5th wave the "operator" says the enemy's strength is half now THEN the upcoming waves are more and more stronger? What would happen if we made their strength to one-third? 20 Atlas + 20 Phantoms come?

Also, when at the begining the "operator" says we have to retake the place and after winning against all ods via 10 waves suddenly weare extracted? What about retaking?

(I am not nitpicking, I like the MP very much, but these are funny, so to say )

I think, regardless, the evac is there because you've stopped their plans, recovered their data, etc, etc & they're about to send the ground troops in to mop up. Seems logical enough to me!

I believe they mean half-strength as in, Half of everything in the area is right on top of you right now. soon they will have everything in the area coming down on you and you will have to withdraw.

for me each match is like:

1. *there are some valuable resources in the area*
2. *lol, the enemy clearly wants those resources more than us, we send just 4 people, evacuate*

"Half strength" as in they are getting desperate and starting to throw all their expensive toys at you.

Why you expect the human alliance to be competent in anything is beyond me... Even when thousands of ships are massing beyond earth in the trailer they are twiddling their thumbs and doing push-ups and having trials instead of actually preparing for the THOUSANDS OF UNKNOWN SHIPS JUST HANGING OUT PARTYING in outer space.

I think the half strength thing means, hey good job you have taken out half of the Cerberus army in this area, to bad it was the weak half, now you get the stronger forces. The whole extracting after 10 rounds is like hey we know you have bled and died here for an impossible goal, but we have decided since your so close to victory we would end it now before you actually win and I lose the bet I placed on you losing.

Might want to fire whoever is in charge of the Navy SEALS then because he is clearly bad at his job.

Yeah, Navy SEALS operate in 4-people squads and they stand their ground against 6 Abramses and 10 ninjas on wave 11.

What irks me the most is that despite me killing half their troops during wave 5, they still manage to send more troops than any wave before in the extraction wave.

I imagine their commanding officer going:
"Oh **** those guys are going away. We should totally send those last five ATLI out, scramble all the troops you have left. Now that they are leaving I feel more compelled to stop them than ever before."
