That one is solely LucasArts' responsibility. Neither EA or BioWare owns Star Wars and decides what to do with it. LA wanted an MMO instead of KOTOR 3, they would've get it done even if BioWare didn't make it. Sad reality.

No Mass Effect MMO! Please, just NO.  No no no.

Do Not Want.

<_<

It's bad enough KOTOR went MMO with TOR.  I don't want to lose ME too.

Mass Effect should never be a MMO.

1. It alienates console fans.
2. Not everyone wants to waste their lives level grinding.
3. I refuse to pay a monthly fee to play ONE game.

This. So much this.

I still haven't forgiven them for letting SWTOR repalce KOTOR 3

Lucas Arts is the one who controls Star Wars not Bioware. There would never have been a Kotor 3 probably.

I thought that Mass Effect MMO might be cool when I first heard of the idea but I quickly changed my mind after a short while. Theirs tons of reasons. I think Mass Effect is better suited towards single play or some multiplayer but not massive mulitiplayer.

Seeing as EA are nothing more then money grabbers, you'll most likey see this happening.

If they **** up Mass Effect universe just like Star Wars one, no thanks. I really don't want ME MMO.

ME is just very good like in its format.

If Mass Effect goes the MMO route, I will pass on it like I did with The Old Republic.

I'm sure EA is very eager to spend another 200 million dollars on an MMO of an IP with only a fraction of a percent of the notoriety of Star Wars.

Damn you. You actually made me appreciate that EA has Bioware...

no thank you, I'm tired of MMO's now, I played WoW for a few years but then got bored of it after Cataclysm, I was hoping that SWTOR would be good so I can get interested in playing MMO's again but no, me and MMO's are now finished.

It could have good potential, like we could make a character of any race, the only thing I could think as a problem is that presumably, the Reapers will be at least defeated after ME3, so who would the enemy be? And this could work well if Bioware made it so your $15 a month paid for both The Old Republic and the ME MMO, because the game might be really good, but $30 a month is a bit much.

I will only play a Mass Effect MMO if the game starts off as a monthly subscription and then a few months later moves to a free-to-play format and charges me for cool things like a new set of Asari Eyebrows.

There is only one way I will accept a ME MMO. Only if it means the return of the glory days of SWG, the return of a Sandbox MMO.

The ME franchise CANNOT adopt a themepark styled mmo like ToR, else the game will turn into a piece of ****.

Running 2 MMOs that are going to be competing against eachother? Uh no EA is not going to let that happen. Period. Just shove the idea already.:pinched:

Even though I really enjoy SWTOR, I do not want every single player game to be turned into an MMO, just no. Mass Effect must remain single player (with optional multiplayer like ME3 perhaps) at all times.

Personally, I think turning Mass Effect into an MMO would be a mistake. I played TOR and compared to the ME and DA and other BW games it was really lacking in story. It's that level of story I expect from BW and if they're not going to give it to me, I won't buy it. Maybe it's not fair to compare the level of storytelling in a MMO to that of a SP, but I don't really care. TOR is fun for what it is, but I'm very aware that it is not KOTOR3. That said, they are going to do what they are going to do. I wish them the best but we'll have to part company when they start talking ME MMO.

Bioware trying something different would never happen. I would LOVE a sandbox Mass Effect MMO just traveling from planet to planet looking for some of the best materials to craft a weapon and suddenly finding a backwords village of Ardaat-Yakshi worshippers. It would be great.

an ME MMO Would be neat, but only as a backburner game. I'd prefer a more focused Co-op game in hte ME universe or another SP/MP type game like ME3.

But I wouldnt be opposed to different genres of ME games, Like an RTS or actual FPS or even an Adventure (think uncharted or something) type game

Yeah I am in the boat with those that feel this universe needs to stay in the single player/Multiplayer space and far away from MMO space. This game is designed to be enjoyed the way you the player wants to enjoy it. Being forced into a social environment is not a good idea imo. As much as I love SWTOR, it is time consuming. Keep it in single player form.
