I enjoyed in the old forum being able to click on the BioWare symbol next to the thread and bringing up just the dev posts. Is there a simple way of doing that or even knowing if the devs posted?

From the only examples I can kind of assume, I've see the two topics Priestly has started and it has a symbol in the lower left. While I'm not sure how to bring up his topics solely (with a simple click anyways), is this a way to at least spot a topic a dev has posted in?

That's a major downside to these forums, compared to the other ones... displaying all dev posts in a single click is a very good feature.

It is just the beta for these forums - a good opportunity to mention what could be added. Or perhaps they don't want you to find them!
