I'm in orgazzmar or whatever and I am doing 2 quests from the same area. One is called "Betrayed from within" and the other one is called "Shifting allegiances: The one who gives the "betrayed" quest expects an answer from the one who gives the "shifting allegiances" quest and vice versa and theres no option to further each quest along cause they both expect an answer...What do I do? Is it a Bug?

I'm experiencing this same issue... does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this?

I'm having the same issue. Both sides tell you to talk to the other before they will tell you what they want next.



I'm pretty sure this is a bug caused by playing both sides too skillfully.

If you are trying to do both the Bhelen and Harrowmont lines at the same time, you will get stuck.



Pick one and stay with it.

This quest line has loads of bugs. Sometimes it's possible to proceed through either "Betrayed" or "Shifting", depending on what order you did things in, and at other times it isn't. If you want to be safe, you should indeed only pick one branch of the questline and stick to it.



For PC users it's possible to go through the Developer Console and access the debug menu for the quest, however. That will let you continue through the quest if you happen to get stuck like this.

Does anyone know how to use the "runscript zz_orz_debug" command, with regards to possibly fixing this quest? I am stuck at this point and unfortunately, I don't have any saves that are very recent to my current game. I really don't want to have to start Orz over again, but I know nothing about using console commands.

Make a shortcut to your "daorigins.exe" file (located in the bin_ship) folder on your desktop or Start Menu (Hold Alt then drag to desktop). Add the line "-enabledeveloperconsole" to the end of the shortcut, without quotes, and it should look something like "C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daorigins.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole



Then just press ` key and type



runscript zz_orz_debug



The rest is straight forward

I play the game on a Playstation 3 and I'm stuck at the same place. I can't figure out how to pick a side because i can't find Bhelen nor Harrowmont. I want to choose Bhelen, but can't figure out how... Who do I talk to to fix this?!?!

searched the forums for an answer on this one..

is there no fix for 360 users if you are stuck where both guys ask you what the other is up too?

i have 4 coerce but it never accepts the lie only the offer to be a spy, and I have no save that goes back far enough

For people who have the pc THERE IS A SOLUTION!!!!!  Use the console command zz_orz_debug and it will allow you to continue one step further.  As to how to use the console command there are places to find out how but this WILL WORK!!!

the runscript zz_orz_debug works i tried it just now.. this is amazing i was just about to restart the whole of orzammar again
