You try to act all better than everyone by saying sh*t like "Oh yeah I have a super awesome amazing gaming PC just like you but I don't make demands because I'm such a nicer person than you, I take what I get and enjoy it"

Great, your like god, your the representation of a perfect human being.. but guess what? We're not demanding, we're asking. So why do you care? You don't have to ask for it if you wanna stay "perfect" but wether you have a PC or not, an HD texture pack is beneficial.. so why come in here saying BioWare shouldn't make one... BioWare making one has 100% no negative effect on you or anyone.
 
So basicaly, shut up. If you wanna stay "perfect" fine, GTFO and don't ask BioWare for one. But there is absolutely no problem with other people, myself included, asking for one.

Look I have no problem with console gaming. In fact I'm more of a console gamer than a PC gamer but come on.. the technology on console in 7 years old.

Way I see it:

Console are a cheap, easy way to create gamers of for gamers to easily enjoy playing great video games.. now for gamers who can afford it (PC gaming can be expensive) and gamers who want to pay the extra $1000+ to get into the nice world of PC gaming, I see no problem letting those gamers experience the full potential of there PC gaming.. which they paid alot for!

technicaly a high res texture pack shouldnt be difficult for them. most texture artists create way higher resolution textures than are required anyway and then just scale them down to the appropriate size for their purpose later (easier and faster workflow). and these high res versions are usualy backed up.

however, often its too much trouble to go through the archives and find all those textures and re-scale them again. its tedious work

No but your clearly against the idea of asking for a texture pack so I believe that if you are against the idea, you should just leave.. Really. Because this is a thread for those asking for a HD texture pack.. if you don't support the idea then leave.

What I find most dissapointing about this is the complete silence from Bioware. The ME3 Twitter account has nothing to do with Bioware, so they're not a reliable source. A quick search for "textures" in the ME3 forum gives me plenty of threads asking the same question, but none of them have a response from the community managers. I can't imagine they don't know the answer, but it seems to me they're deliberately not answering the question until the game has been released (and we find out there's no HD texture pack).

What is exactly wrong with asking Bioware to utilize the strenghts of each platform to their outmost advantage Golden RAAM?

There is nothing wrong about Kinect support or Bioware trying to make the PS3/Xbox version look their best. So why shouldn't Bioware attempt to make the PC version good as possible.
