Don't knock infiltrators with carnifex. Maybe not ideal for solo, but cloaking and then moving into ideal positions for a flanking crossfire is great. Cloak isn't just a damage buff.

Why would I? And I think you mean Widow. And I think you are wrong. Widow X is a different beast due to a lack of weight penalties. I've said before and I will say again, that having a Widow X probably alters the balance, or at least certainly presents a more compelling reason to use it.

I'm wondering how you dealt with all the phantoms. I saw an ealier gold run of yours and you got alot of stasis headshot kills. You're a good sniper but each phantom would essentially take 2 moving headshots.

Well, I just figured out a way to 1 shot phantoms on Gold with the Widow and it would've made my solo run WAY easier... Cloak, Energy drain + Widow body shot and they die. I'll post it once I've confirmed it - what a silly mistake to use Cryo instead of Warp ammo...

It's definitely possible if you're a good infiltrator. I'm a really crappy infiltrator and even then I got to wave 8 soloing Silver. Could've finished if I didn't keep missing so many easy headshots.
A skilled infiltrator could definitely do this, it just takes lots of skill and lots of patience.

64 minutes is quite a long time for anyone with even the most rudimentary modding skills. Believe me, a modder would not have come on here to brag about having spent an hour on a mission. They also would not have played an Infiltrator using a Widow, since that is the most Gold viable class and weapon combo.

Played alot with him and I can say that he doesn't hack, there are videos of him playing gold with us, some even made by himself.

Used DxTory to record & screencap. The raw file is around 60 Gigabytes and that's from wave 5 onwards... So I have to cut & render which will take some time. Will upload and post the link in the OP as soon as it's ready.

You can try, but energy drain can't completely deplete a phantom's barrier even with all power damage upgrades, racial passive power upgrades, and Armor power damage bonus II.
