But for Infiltrators, it really does only take the role of a sidearm, even then you mayaswell not take it because it would slow down your cloak time. Widow is the best sniper rifle in the demo.

Reason I pointedly say 'in the demo' in both scenarios is because, well to be fair. We have no clue about the new weapons, but no two people will be the same. That's what's so exciting, I'm N7 120 and sure you get people that copy your ideas and stuff in the demo but, paving the way with ingenious loadouts is such an exciting prospect for the full game.

On soloing Gold: Well done mate, your the first, but there will be many to come, the Widow X is practically a ticket to invincibility. I'm actually quite impressed that you managed to subside the adreniline and keep control well enough to finish it, like you said, you were shaking, heh, I bet anyone would, people that don't have experience or dont handle nerves well couldn't do that.

Someone needs to make a STG group for us infiltrators that prefer the Salarian.

The Widow X doesn't hamper the recharge to a significant degree, because it's the version that has the least - recharge.

Really? I didn't know that because I only have Widow I. So that means, the higher the weapon grade is, the better the recharge and damage capabilities. Need to make a note of this for the full game.

Yeah the gun upgrades are vital.  The OP's luck in getting a widow x is astronomically high.  Kudos to that luck.

Quite honestly, I had been expecting someone to do this sooner or later with the Salarian Infiltrator as it's the best race/class combination in the MP, esp. with the Widow (made a thread about this a while back)

While an impressive feat, I won't be truly blown away until someone does it on Gold with a Vanguard, or something.

 he survived 5 waves the 5 waves up are harder then hell when you have to runaround with phantoms and atlas poured out on gold and what he did to survive  you only get 2 medigels and 2 replenish...sheild and life

I find it hard to believe because, first - the widow even the X edition makes you weight like a Krogan, and the fact that Tactical cloack doesn't grant you invisibility, in gold there are at least 4 atlas mech per round, turrets everywhere and stupid drones(centurion, troppers, nemesis, phantom) everywhere, at the moment you pass by one of them... they all know where you are, and where you are going, hell even TIM knows.

The thread is worth nothing, but still there's no harm in taking his word for it, no one's calling him a liar, he didn't post a thread saying how big his balls were because he did this, or how awesome he was, he wasn't bragging he simply said "It can be done". So yeah, I'd take his word for it unless proven otherwise.

I've done up to wave 8 on gold with a widow 3, its possible.  The hardest waves are 8-10.  The biggest problem really isn't the atlases, for me it was getting on hack waves and getting zerged down by phantoms / turrets / grenades homing in on me through stealth.

Trust the OP, I'm sure he did it with a Widow X, I don't really get what he would get out of lying about it.

Salarian infiltrator is badass! I love having energy drain. Much more useful than overload with the re-charge to your shields. Plus I love taking out a group of charging troops with proxy mine!

I usually now mainly use cloak for revives/move to checkpoints for objective waves/ and to flank enemy groups

There's no need to see the files.  If you mod the files, it will be highly observable in a video.  There are a few slight tweaks that could be done, but those don't really reduce the difficulty that much.

salarians can have +90% cd with Widow X.  It's really nice after you factor in the 25% increase from the individual powers.

again dont care for modded files or what not if he has a video that said he would show then do so i am not going to say he didnt and  you all know photos can be photo shoped..

Would love to know what build + weapon loadout you used! From your earlier post I read you were using Widow X but did you have a secondary? As for the build, did you put any in Prox. Mine? And did you take Tac Cloak's 40% Sniper damage or use 1 power?
