It jinxes my head when I try to imagine a situation where playing something as involving and time consuming as Baldur's Gate on Ipad sounds like  good idea.

"Hmmmz, 15 mins til train arrives. Not enough time for Farmville, mayhaps I just  clear 2-3 traps down @ Naskhel mines real quick!"

it isn't what is ment to be!

I dont think i can only play for 15 mins.
I dont think i can control myself if i start playing, if i buy an iPad my whole business and relation life gonna end.
And playing multi with iPad sounds too much right :/

Just read some of Oster's tweets and he says he will try to do this with Planescape as well. I find it really awesome that Planescape might be updated, but I still think the game is as beautiful as ever. The art really held up compared to Baldur's Gate, I thought. Anyways, I was itching to do another playthrough of Planescape this summer, but I'll wait to see what the news on that is.

Anyone know when this new version is coming out? I was looking at Wikipedia and all it says is summer 2012. I hope it comes out late June/early July.

They aim for September for release date(and still saying summer ...)

BTW there is a new portrait at Baldursgate.com under Jaheria's, a bald guy with a tatoo/scar on his mouth. Seems like a new character maybe from BG2 kits, he kinda likes a barbarian .

EA won't let them remaster Ultima sadly. Shame too because I can't bring myself to play them anymore.

Gah... I spit on the graves of EA's forefathers for what they did to the Ultima franchise. Went from 7, the pinnacle of the series, to 8 and 9, the worst.

Companies need to stop with the blasted countdowns. These added characters are totally going to steal the BG1 cast's thunder. They will probably have at least BG2 quality dialogue whereas the old crew will be limited to their non-modded content. I'm totally only going to bring Imoen and Xan along to make room for the newcomers.
