Can't use Cerberus Code (key code in use...by me)

I recieved Mass Effect 2 last year for Christmas and finally just got to playing the original game, as well as this one.  I know, shoot me xP I saw that there was the card inside to enter the Cerberus code to unlock extra DLC.  So I put it in on the section of the site where I was told to, and unlocked all of the DLC for download.  I installed all of them, and booted the game, at which point I was asked to enter my Cerberus Code (again) if I had it, so I did.  However, the game told me that that code was already in use, presumeably due to my using the code on the site and not in game?  The game recognizes I have the DLC installed but won't authorize them for me.  I have the game registered and everything, and really would like to take advantage of the sweet stuff from Cerberus, but the game fails to realize that that "the key code in use" is the one that I entered.  Is there a fix or workaround for this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Use the login in function on the laptop on the main page of the game. It should ask you to enter your Bioware email and password(without special characters) into the boxes. This links your game to your account that has the dlc and authorizes it. You will know for sure it is linked when the second closed laptop opens and starts displaying text.

Hey! Thanks for responding :)

I've done so, but it doesn't ask for my Bioware details, it asks for me EA account, which I also have. I enter my information, which it accepts, and then asks for my Cerberus Code, which I put in, but then states that said code is already in use, which is the same issue I've been having :/

Hey, I bought my Mass Effect 2 about a month ago on Origin, and I'm having the same problem: I login to my EA/Bioware account, however, when I enter the code I got via e-mail, it says its already on use.

This is a random/speculation guess.

Any chance some codes might be "stolen"/"generated" via key generators and registered?

Or somebody made a typo in their key? - Bioware could do some "searching" and or making spefic keys to lock to spefic CD keys wich have to be registered at once. Should atleast prevent such incidents from occuring as the odds of two people generating/typoing two codes is really unlikely.

Hey, reporting the same issue. I bought Mass Effect 2 on the 24th through Origin, did not get my reciept mailed until today and get the already in use message. Bioware social does not recognize the key also.

Well it's possible that these codes that we legally used coulda gotten stolen by keygens and such, but the site here accepted my key when I entered it and allowed me to download the content, but when the game itself asked for auth, it said the code was already in use, so something isn't making the connection that it was MY account that did it, because it worked once, so I don't think my key got stolen by a gen

EDIT: I found out what my issue was.  My EA account was registered under a totally different email than the one I entered, which in turn was also the one that my BioWare account is as well.  It's a secondary email of mine.  I also have an EA account under my primary one, which is what I was entering, but I had used the Cerberus Code under the other email and forgot that I did that, or even had that one.  I signed in with the secondary email, and BOOM, all of the free Cerberus Code DLC packs that I downloaded were at my disposal :)  So if anyone else has this issue, check to make sure what emails and such you are entering

Ok guys and gals, I found the solution for our problem: contact EA Help. Enter ea.com, login, and go to the help page. Once there, click on the talk to a game advisor button. Then just follow the instructions to contact the staff. Don't forget to explain exactly what's happening, and to include your game serial key. I did so last night, and this morning they had already solved my problem.
