Everytime I see a "nerf this" topic...

I more often see people asking to nerf weapons (carnifex) or abilities (stasis) which is much more reasonable.

I dont like the carnifex and prefer the phalanx and predator
Stasis is nice but a atlas rips you apart when you rely on it too much and the asari is THE papertarget
Theres always suckers that cry nerf to things that arent unbalanced in the greater picture, i dont see dozens of asari's even when people have it, i dont see anyone with a carnifex
Sure i dont like how my locust is a joke in terms of dps to a carnifex, but its only IV yet
I dont like the all too drastic taken protection from my sentinel (why ffs?)
But i like the mp so far because it doesnt feels like its holding your hand and comfort you with instant gratification (basically any game nowadays) (gimme ma revi already! or me haz to gitya some mosha's!)
I am not as good as i was once, but for most naps, especially the cod crowd, i am more then an army

Buying Mass Effect 3 for only its multiplayer aspect sounds wrong, for me least.
MP is just a bonus for me, gonna have some fun times with me friends online thats all.

Just started a fresh play of me1 to get to me2 and then me3 as my canon playthrough
Don't know why people can't see how awesome the story and execution is

I think the last time I had this much of a visceral sense of Risk/Reward in a shooter was back when I played Medal of Honor. The first one.
And this is all just in the demo... I'm fairly hyped to see what comes of the actual game.

There are a lot of FPS and TPS fans out there that want nothing more than a new challenge, and that is likely their reasoning. I also have just finished burning through ME1 and ME2 so that I could have my replacement canon playthrough (dissapointed that no one died this time through the sucide mission, though). The story to ME is the entire reason that I play this game, but multiplayer (to me) is a great reason to keep playing it once I have beaten the story.

I actually believe the mp, as much as i thought it will fail, is the perfect icing on an otherwise delicious cake that made me a very happy gamer
And if the demo ist just a tste of what comes, i will glady hand out the remaining parts of my soul that origin took

Exactly! I have spent so much time playing the MP Demo and loving it. Everytime I level up, or purchase at the store I do have that moment of "why am I doing this when it will get wiped in a week," but the fun of it all keeps drawing me back in. A good team and I fall right into the middle of the pack, supporting and helping out. A bad team and I take the lead role and carry to glory (or defeat). Either way, I am enjoying every moment of it.

I want to stangle a noob
Bronze is too easy and it's boring after leveling up a bit
Silver is too easy and boring after leveling up some more
Gold is still a challenge but with a few good men can be handled with not too much trouble
Nerf this game and I won't be buying it. if anything, I need more difficult settings. More difficult then gold for sure.
Please do not nerf the games for the unskilled/casual gamer. Explain to them there are bronze modes for them to enjoy.
I actually had no intention of buying this game (did not enjoy ME1 or 2, gave them the benefit of the doubt and rented) but after playing such a challenging MP in this demo I am very eager to buy.
If you nerf anything without offering higher difficulties I will not buy it. Easy **** is boring. Thanks
tldr
easy **** is boring
So, you're not a fan of the series, and you want them to make difficulty harder in a minor part of the game for you, who, again, doesn't actually like the games aside from co-op?

now, u dont need to buy this game (since u only care about the highest possible difficulty), kkthxbye
but i agree they should make a new difficulty level for ppl like you in which you got insta killed by everything, its very easy to do and much worth it, just to make you shut up, we dont really care about how awesome and skilled you are.

I thought ME 1 and 2 were great Cliche productions for people that like that sort of thing. I hated them though with their simplistic combat, simplistic items, and lame nerd humor.
ME3- I played the single player demo yesterday and thought the writing was even crappier this go around; even the humor is Bob Saget trash (you'd have to have watched America's funniest home videos to understand how crap his lines were).
But Lo And Behold! They discovered what RPGs from almost thirty years ago new all along!
PEOPLE LIKE ITEMIZATION AND CUSTOMIZATION AND TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS.
So now I might buy ME3 just for the fun multiplayer and I have always been a sucker for Co-op.
TLDNR: The fact that previous productions were single player doesn't mean that multi player fans should ignore a multi player ME3. Derp.

where did i say how awesome and skilled i am?
kids like you that make up your own **** to reply to are barely worth replying to but here it goes -
you don't agree with my thoughts on the game difficulty and that's ok. i'm explaining my thoughts on the demo i played which has nothing to do with buying another game.
someone else mentioned that Me3 multi was the most challenging "horde" type mp they've played and i completely agree. it's the reason i'm going to buy it.
unless they start nerfing ****.
thanks

Minor in who's opinion? What if I buy the game and never play SP? Then MP is obviously major from my point of view.
Yes, i'm not a fan, and I know that pisses the fanboys off.
All i'm saying is I was pleasantly surprised when I DLed the MP demo and was getting my ass handed to me for hours on end until I started unlocking **** and ranking up.
It was very refreshing to have such a challenge.
I don't know how many different ways i can explain this...
The challenge was what drew me into this game - and i'll wind up buying the game/exploring SP again and maybe becoming a fan all for that reason. All the while supporting the devs with my cash.
Unless they start nerfing ****.

And I can't help but laugh a bit at the OP's attitude. "Ask better players about what makes them better than you, and you'll magically get better!" "If Bioware nerfs my Gold, PRE-ORDER CANCELLED!"
when you put "" around text, it's supposed to mean you are quoting word for word, which you could do with the quote tool that most forums provide.
making up your own **** then putting "" around it, then replying to your own made up text makes you look like a fool.
back on topic maybe?

You love that?
What does "originally a single player game" have to do with my opinion of the third installment of ME introducing a MP portion that I feel is challenging? (yes I still get my ass handed to me repeatedly on gold) that I do not want nerfed?
I'm not allowed to voice my opinion on a new version of a game that now includes MP because it was "originally a single player game" ?
Weird.

Yeah about that... you realize that nerfs to the player classes and weapons would make the game more difficult...... right?

This kind of hurts the credibility of your opinion.

I guess looking up and knowing the meaning of "nerf" is boring too. Ohh well, better luck next time.
