Tyrant/Adjutant isn't in the game.
Brute is turian/krogan hybrid.
Banshee is an Asari Matriarch (yes I'm being nitpicky)
Ravager is a rachni with a human attached
Harvester is one of those flying things from ME2 that gave birth to Klixen.

oh yeah, I totally forgot about the klixen
about Ravager I tended between rachni and keeper, so quite close I guess

Banshee are Asari Ardat-Yakshi, not Matriarchs, according to the leaked codex files.

damn what would be the point of introducing the enemy in the comics and then not put it in the game?

Maybe they changed their minds after the info was submitted for the book? Or maybe they changed their minds after the codex was written and recorded? *shrug*

Retcon!!!! j/k

I do remember that codex but wouldn't full on Ardat-Yakshi be too rare?  Maybe matriarchs that have a predisposition to have Ardat-Yakshi offspring?

Just listened to the codex again, and I must have imagined the Ardat-Yakshi thing as it only says Asari. No idea where I got that from then, but oh well :-/

Also, The Turian units are called Marauders, and the Rachni units do not have humans attached to them...

Odd cause the Ardat-Yakshi thing sounded familiar to me too.  w/e

Went back to the artbook and it says they scrapped the idea for the human to be attached to the ravagers because it was "too disgusting".

They're missing some eh? Like the Turian husk that looks like Saren's ME1 husk. That group isn't on there and it's in game.

Something along the lines of the Drider could have worked without being too over the top. I prefer the idea of the rachni unit not being a hybrid though.

I don't think I read it on the spoiler site, but that seems to be the most logical explanation as I've no idea where else I could have read it.

I would wager so given the nature of the spoiler I am referring to

The Art of ME Universe confirms that the Adjustant/Pariah/Tyrant was a concept for ME3 which was cut.

So this is pretty much confirmed to just be old concept art and not actually indicative of enemy types in the game?

It's old but replace the Adjuntan/Tyrant with the Marauder and remove the human from the ravager and you'll have the actual version of the Reaper "army".

The rachni husk (Ravager) looks like old concept art too. I'm pretty sure this is the final design:

These enemies don't look anything like the ones in "Dead Space". And "Dead Space" wasn't even the pioneer of these types of monsters, anyway.
