I'd just like to remind the OP that you have aided this particular ebay product

$10 says the listing is removed before someone buys it.

$400 says he already has enough Pm`s to sell it offsite anyway...

As sad as it is I can understand why someone would do this. The internet is full of morons who will be alll "OMG I CAN PLAY A WEEK EARLY FOR $400!!!!!! MUST BUY NAO!!!!!"

It's a sad fact.

400? What type of crazy person would buy it?

collectors. Do you know that rare NES cartridges go for up to 20000 USD nowadays.

Really? Time to go through my old game box and see if I have the gem that will pay off my student loans!

well there are only 50 copies of the game i was referring to, (also aquired in a tournament, like this game).

still, good luck

also, I dont know if this appeals case has been appealed itself, but buyers/winners no longer own software, and cant put it on ebay. It hasnt been used against games on Ebay, but it doesnt mean it cant.

The case can only be used where the software is being copied and distributed without license.

What a douchebag. People are disgusting.

Why, because he is smart enough to recognize the value of what he has?, heck if he gets the $400, assuming he already pre-ordered the CE, this will pay for it with a lot of change to spare.

Isn't it essentially scalping? I'm an opportunistic guy, but congratulating a scalper is one of the last things I would do.
As soon as someone bids, the "Buy It Now" price of 400 will disappear. He won't get the $400 this close to launch. He's a douchebag, because he thinks he will. Do you really think that they shot those things into space so that their fans could profit from the game? No? They gave a rare opportunity to fans that enjoy their games, and this clown swoops in and defies the spirit of the contest.

Swooping is bad.

if it bothers people so much why not just send him/her a pm saying you`ll buy it now for $800.

by the time he asks for payment and finds out its a lie,it`ll be launch day and in stores.

If he finds someone dumb enough to complete an offsite transaction with then he probably deserves the money.

If I hadn't have posted this someone else would have 5 minutes later.

It was a risk I had to take.

Its a PS3 copy (The worst version). He probably has an X360 and does not want to buy a PS3 or to replay ME2 on PS3 with missing ME1 stuff.

I was under the impression that Bioware moderated and tracked every Space Editio

None of the games were missing. Each balloon was supposed to have 3 Xbox copies and one PS3.

miss fish youre wrong there  was 10 and 10 in the las vegas one they even said so and the other ones was 5 and 5

I had a friend there. The people launching the baloons only recived 8 copies of the game.

Agreed. He's not being innovative in any shape or form...

It's just generic scalping.

People will buy just about anything on ebay and I have known a few people who would actually shell out the money for this kind of deal. It really does feel sad that there was a ton of fanatical people who would of given their right arm for one of those space yet its someone who's just interested in selling it that got it. Despite that I can see why he is trying to do this, even if it is a pretty ***ty move but there is no way he's getting 400 this close to launch.

Any one want to guess how many angry emails this guy is getting through ebay over this?

This guy wasnt copying them, he had some physical copies, unopened (so you can't say he installed and tried to sell them) that he wasnt using (theyre apparent 15 yo). Same here. Guy has software, unopened, that he isnt using

The paperwork we had to sign for the game says it's not supposed to be re-sold...it puts it in fairly loose terms, but I wouldn't feel comfortable turning it around and selling it given the nature of the wording.

That the copy is in his posession. In his hands. And didn't steal it from anyone.
