specifically the floating quasi levitation performed by Samara during her intro as well as Tela Vasir/Liara during Lair of teh shadow broker.
Is there a reason why only Asari seem to be doing it? (outside of vanguard's biotic charge) I remember my first time playing it... opn my adept and wondering why Shep can't jsut turna round and do that self levitation thing as well since he/she is a biotic specialist in that playthrough. Or the Vanguard who already uses biotic charge, doesn't seem to ever use thier biotics toa ssist mobility in other situations, like jumping over obstacles or dodging/ducking from cover to cover.
It irked em since the fist time I saw Samara's intro adn yes the me3 multiplayed demo's Asari adept made it irk me to the point of posting about it. Go figure.
I know its just a game and it'd be a lot fo work to impliment that sort of thing, I'm curious to know if there are examples of humans using biotics like that, or if its just somethign about the Asari's super special awesome biotic-ness that allows them to do it? Are humans unable touse the same princeples fo biotic charge to... charge from cover to cover, or do they need somethign to charge at to avoid bioticly splatting themselves into the wall? Otherwise it seems like it'd be a fairly useful way to increase a soldiers combat mobility by using biotics to help them move faster form cover to cover, evade "stuff" or finda better firing position.
Or maybe it si jsut artistic license and they couldn't be bothered to have anyone else use biotics to help them move around the battlefield?
Thoughts?
(also. Apolegies for the horrid typos and such. My Thraykelator is broken)
Biotic assisted movement?

It is totally "rule of cool" at play in cutscenes. ME2 is full of them (keep in mind, I love ME2). Too many video games to count introduce a character with super-mega-awesome powers in cutscenes, and then the character is greatly reduced in power once they join up with you. No explanation is ever given (except maybe for Garrus).
Samara can fly, Jack can crush Ymir mechs, Garrus can solo hundreds of mercs, Thane can snap necks and vanish without a trace, Miranda's Slam is awesome in cutscene, and that is just some of the shenanigans ME2 pulls. For worse offenders, look at Devil May Cry and other such games. There is no logic in giving people these lore-defying abilities in cutscenes other than the "rule of cool." If it looks cool, put it in a cutscene.

I kinda group the "rule of cool" in with "artistic license" but that's just me.
I was more curious as to why it was ONLY the asari that get to do it. as opposed to Shep activating his/her biotics to right his landing like Tela Vasir and Liara did so he can continue to give chase. I remember saying to the screen "Hey I'm a biotic too! Liara teach me to do that!" XD
Would have been interesting to see a "rule of cool" type seen with Sheph based on his/her combat specialization, fancy close combat or shooting for soldier types, perhaps some fancy tech based shenanigans for the tech chars, and some biotic fireworks for Bioticshep.
Still kinda curious if there's a reason only Asari get to use biotics to help them move faster/better/moredirections.
