Two objectives I hope aren't in the final game.

2. Hack an objective on the extraction point. The extraction points are the least defensible areas of each map, they have little cover and often your attackers have high ground, there is no where to retreat afterwards either.

1. Assasinate an Atlas. Seriously? If we waste 2 minutes killing that thing you'll probably make us assasinate another straight after. You basically have to use missles to avoid timing out.

1. can indeed be annoying, especially on Gold where you actually want to hold those missiles back as a panic weapon or for holding the line in the last wave.
2. is indeed crappy at times (read: most of the time) and if the team isn't good, Silver troops can really chew you up (don't mind Gold, they WILL chew you up good). However, even though those missions are prone to end the match, they are very much doable. What most people don't seem to get is that four minutes are enough time to hack those assignments with only two people in the circle, meaning you'd have two other people that can buy you time (and if they are good, pretty much keep you save all along). People need to learn to split forces when it's appropriate, it does wonders in some situations.

It's doable, but damn it isn't easy.

I was in a silver match the other day when we had a "kill the target" objective...at least 3 of the targets were an Atlas. I had a Phantom sneak up on me and perform her lovely "kill you while you can't do jack crap about it" move, then the other people just got picked off one by one. We did manage to kill 2 of the Atlas without any problems. I am curious to see such a round on gold, though o.O
it is assassinate 50 atlas or assassinate 50 phantoms like...all the time, with an engineer thrown in every once in a while for some gold turret kill you in a quarter of a second fun

Seriously, whenever I see someone use a missile on wave 4, I want to punch them through the internet. SAVE THEM. ESPECIALLY on Gold, where FIVE atlases spawn on wave 5, and it only gets worse from there...
Oh and on gold your targets are usually atlases and phantoms. Atlases require focus fire, but phantoms are fairly easy for several classes (Asari Adept/Sallie Inf)

If I'm working with a team, I'd ask them to watch my back while I overload and cockpit-shot the Atlas in no time at all.

The only objective I've got a problem with so far is if there is a 'gather data' objective on the landing pad on firebase white since that is prime spawning area for the entire wave. Good luck holding it with constant spawns popping up to murder you from behind.

Yeah, that one's the worst, especially when it comes in late in the round (as in, wave 6+) and you get all the worst enemies.

1. I'm getting used to write this: what a waste of a rocket. Seriously if you can't kill an Atlas in less than 2 minutes you have a bigger problem on your hands. Use rockets only as a life saver not as a convenience.
2. Did it cross your mind that it was the point of having your group holding a position hard to defend? On top of it, if you hadn't wasted your rockets earlier well guess what... you wouldn't have these 4 Atlas stomping your position.
