I've been playing the demo for a few days now with only the well known hotbar bug occuring. However just yesterday I was interrupted during a match and had to divert attention for a few minutes. Upon returning I found that I could no longer hear he other players in the game. My own microphone still send, and I have been told by friends that they can still hear ME through the game, but I do not hear anybody else. It is not a problem with my hardware, both headphones and speakers are affected. Additionally other games and programs work fine (Skype, Killing Floor, etc) so far it is only the Mass Effect 3 Demo showing this problem. I have tried restarting the game, I have tried restarting my computer. I have gone into Options and turned the player voice volume to full with no luck.
If anybody could help me with this problem,or let me know if it is a known one that is scheduled to be fixed that would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Try enabling the "Force chat" option, and also switch the output to another option and switch back.

This has been resolved throgh hours of messing with options on the game and computer itself, still not sure what the issue was.

Probably a bug, as is with demos they can't catch everything. I encountered a shift bug while on the second mission of the demo which caused my client to crash. (While messing around with the hotbar)
