There is a crazy guy(user name "123") claim that Elf was Kemonomimi...(wtf?)

I know you may unable to read Thai language, but my point is.

How do you think about his idea?Is Elf really a part of Kemonomimi?

(Jeez,J.R.R. Tolkien must cry when he heard that guy said)

No. It's definitely not. Honestly the whole anime (Which is what I think a 'kemonomimisomething' is from, right?) culture should stay away from the, I'll go ahead and call it Western, fantasy world! J.R.R Tolkien would turn around in his grave.

Pretty sure elves are an ~10th century pagan symbol. Not much anime or manga going on then.

Elves are depicted from Pagen symbols and Nor mythology, not ****ty anime. J.R.R Tolkien must be very disappointed.

I wouldn't say it's completely wrong, but it's definitely not derivative of that phenomenon.

In actuality, it is reverse; Elves, or rather elven lore and folktales inspired Kemonomimi as well as other anthropomorphic character types.

If he wishes to to claim it's the same regardless, ask him what animal it is derived from. I'd be curious on his answer.
