It's from Tank on Something Awful. He's been right on pretty much everything so far for a long while. He could be messing with people, he claimed the actual face for Tali was the pig once. Sounds legit enough, BioWare makes oversights on random things pretty often, but this sounds like something big enough to fix rather than Conrad acting weirdly.

To be honest, it's not too big a deal, but people here will probably make a huge fuss about it.

I, uh... heh... I think certain... other aspects of the endings are going to potentially show you a true ****storm from a lot of people quite possibly more rabidly than this will.

Meh.  They do give you a way out it's just hard to get.  I do laugh at Renegades getting pissed on though.

Do they? Liara kind of saved Shepard's life after she had already died, it makes sense she would be a really important person in her life. If it makes it seem romantic, yeah people will freak out a bit, but people reacted the same to the EDI sexbot and the Prothean. No one really cares anymore.

There's also the Hackett bit which makes absolutely no sense.  Anderson would have made a much better fit but whatever.  They're literally dissing every ME2 LI with this.  Why wouldn't this ****** people off?

Hackett is a bit of a weird choice, Joker makes sense enough. To be honest, Hackett played a bigger role in the first game than Udina or Anderson. If they want to, they could build up HAckett a bit more as a father figure character in the third game. Not really a good idea, but it would explain it.
