I'm starting to come around to that part too (wow, didnt realise I took so long typing this out - i meant the "okay with the mass relays being gone, but why strand Normandy" idea), though tossing the Normandy out in the middle of nowhere is still irritating me.

In theory, the Mass Relays could be rebuilt... it'll take a long time, yeah, and a lot of people will probably die in the mean time from lack of food/water/oxygen/medical care... but it "could" be done, if the Conduit says anything. It may be a few centuries, but... maybe, just maybe, galactic civilization could be rebuilt.

What do LOTR and SW OT have in common? They ended on a hopeful note. ME3 resembles X-Men 3. We all know how well X3 was received by fans.

Just like ONI.

And what about the whole 'ME 3 is a good starting point' quote?

They better. At least one of my Sheps is gonna end up putting a bullet through his head because of the Paragon ending.

With what resources?  Earth is wrecked and most of the other homeplanets are wrecked.  Travel is now pretty much impossible except for local systems.  Like I said, you're knocking them back millenia.

Instead of realys blowing up I would rateher, make repaers to run away and let other civilsation to deal with them, but next civilisation would have been prepared fo them.

Funny thing. This guy's a renegade asswipe with paragon decisions (saved rachni, Council, blew Collector base, etc), so he'd totally do the Paragon ending here...then realize, to his freaking dismay, that he's all alone. AGAIN.

(Colonist/Sole Survivor background...yeah....you do the math)

If there is a ME4, it will have to take place in the year 3000/4000. In which case, they might as well just 'reboot' the series. Unless they come up with another big, evil villian(s).

I suppose, it would have been better for Shepard to put the bullet through his brain, instead of being blamed for all s*hit that happened.

Honest to god, the only one that remotely makes sense and is probably the true Paragon way is Shepard taking control of the Reapers and trying to mitigate the damage as much as possible.

It sounds like the "Destroy" ending is the durrr ending in that you're dooming billions of people and you're still alone.

The "Merge" ending is interesting in that I hope their new synthetic bodies help with hunger and them rebuilding those relays.

Control Ending has you now repairing the Relays in a timely fashion, saving your crew, still alive, and an unstoppable army for a bonus.

Probably there won't be ME4, but something like FO NV, a spin off to the series happening between ME1 and ME3 beginning.

Just had this image go through my mind of Shepard running after Jenkins and pushing him out of the way, only to take the geth fire him/herself. Image IPB

Sh*it Shepard has a really f*ucked up live, I'm so sorry for the character, jesus he went through Hell, literally Hell and if he survives he's abadoned? WTF BioWare is this your proper way to end Shepards story, just let him die of starvation or him biegn conmstantly drunk, because hes brain is fu*cuked up form all those terrible thing he saw and experianced, example His death in ME2.
