LOL, ROFL, hey guys how much time you think it will take for General population threads to come here to rage?

I'm guessing not long. This will spread like wildfire.

And here I was, enjoying a final play through of ME 2. Really don't feel like finishing it now knowing what happens to them.

The ting is that even our imports form ME1 to 2 to 3 don't even matter or even better they don't provide alternative ending.

They make some endings harder or easier, and affect the fate of Earth etc.

For example, apparently the Base decisions affects the difficulty of the destroy and contorl endings - keeping it makes control easier, and vice versa.

Donno, don't care.

Kinda like how nasty these endings are.

And as said before, the Relays could eventually be fixed to work again, but it would take time... time enough to, you know, have the protagonist die of old age or any other reason.

that general thread WILL get shut down. It is getting pretty close to just unloading spoilers. More threads will appear as we get closer to release.

No, they get stranded on an uncharted planet with... no Mass Relays... and no Normandy.

We've been talking about this for hours now. What we're doing is clinging to any kind of shred of open-endedness and trying to fill in the gaps with something - anything - hopeful.

Oh, I'm surprised there isn't more a **** storm going on then. Responses to it in the spoiler group were.... erm.... what's a nice way to put this...

You're only a little bit ahead of yourself there. This thread IS the beginning.

I also creeped the spoiler group, I know what was going on in there.

I must say I'm liking the endings more and more.
Ah, all the delicious tears of american kids, derived from their usual 'and the hero lives happily ever after'.

Taking pleasure in the misery of others, great... here we go.

Yeah, as usual the d-bags of the internet will have a great day.

There are so many better ways to zero-sum the Mass Effect universe to **** it out for spin-offs.

Poor Drew Karpyshyn :(

Yeah, as usual the d-bags of the internet will have a great day.

They already did when they learned that ME3 would be so linear that it didn't even include a Cerberus path.

LOL

If the crew of the Normandy repopulates the island...that means Shep's LI probably ends up screwing someone else. XD This is especially hilarious if Shep stayed loyal.(to me anyway. But I have a wonky sense of humor).

So...Vega and Ashley, Kaidan and Kelly? Maybe someone else. Garrus and Tali obviously. Liara and...well Liara would probably stay single and cling to Shep's old armory or something. Make a shrine out of Shep's quarters if they're still in one piece.

Jesus, all of them would start to screw each other and that's how the new races would develop, because of adaptation and evolution, example quarturian or white asari.

I can totally imagine all of this happening.
What a cute little colony they would make.

Ugh. The ending is just so punishing. But I'm not gonna make a long vent.
I wish they had Drew write ME3.
Oh well, time for some fanfiction plans.

Quite fitting, though I believe it also describes the response from many who seem to be enjoying all this.

I posed the big question to my best friend (who doesn't play ME) as a philosophical question:

Would you rather:

a) Destroy all the evil, but in doing so, you destroy all chance of seeing your loved ones again and you're destined to live out the rest of your life on a desolate planet?

B) Choose to control all the evil, but you have to sacrifice your body and go into cybernetic oblivion to do it. Then, if you destroy all the evil, all you're left with is nothing.

or c) Choose to merge the evil with the good, creating a new understanding and breaking the cycle, only the process inevitably leads to your death.

She chose C without hesitation.

I'd take a gun and shoot myself if presented with those choices. Much like what your Shep would do CDR.

That's starting to sound better to me as this goes forward, too...
